Chapter 5: The Truth Behind it All

Previously on Chapter 4...
Chase and Skye were going on on a date outside of the palace. Skye is going to tell Chase her background story before becoming a Royal. How will he react? Find Out!

After a Few mins of riding in the cartridge, they finally arrive at a fancy restaurant. They both get out of the cartridge and head inside.

Prince Chase: Do you like it Skye?

Skye: Yes, I've never been to a fancy place

Prince Chase: I found a place to sit. Have a Seat

Skye: ok

The waiter comes over and brings them their menus and they both start to look over it.

Prince Chase: hmm, there are so many choices that idk what to choose

Skye: Same, everything looks good.

After 5 Mins of looking at the menu, the waiter comes over and ask if they are ready. Both Chase and Skye say yes.

Prince Chase: Can I have a streak and Vegetables on the side Please?

Waiter * Writes down order* yes and what drink do you guys want

Both: Just a glass of water will do, thanks.

Waiter: How about you miss?

Skye: um ill just have a salad with a small bowl of fruits on the side please?

Waiter: ok, ill bring your order to yiu in about 10 - 15 mins.

Both: Sounds good

15 mins later... The waiter comes back with both if their orders and thet say thank you and start eating. As they were eating, Chase decides to ask Skye to tell him her background story.

Skye: *starts to shake a little* well you see... I came from a family who did not really care about me. My mom made me do everything for her.. And I lost my dad since I was little. My mom never wanted to help and made me do all the chores around the house. She would constantly threaten me and one day she just kicked me out of the house.. And told me to go live somewhere else.

Prince Chase: gee skye, im sorry to hear that, life must have been hard for you..

Skye: It was and every day I woke up, i dreaded it so much..

Prince Chase: Well don't worry me and my family will help you. after all, as royals we help anyone who needs help.

Skye: really?? Oh thank you that would mean a lot to me.

Prince Chase: *in mind* I really like her and want to confess to her.. Idk how she will react.. Bu im determined to make her life better.

Skye: everything alright? You seem lost in thoughts.

Prince Chase: Oh, uh yeah.. Just thinking about something

Skye: ok.. Lets just finish up our meals and head back so we arent keeping ur parents waiting since it is getting dark.
