Unexpected

Merediths POV

When i was finally arriving home i recognized a familiar looking motorcycle and knew exactly who's it was. But what was he doing here? Was this the end? Was he going to put it to an end? Is he going to apologize? All of these thoughts and questions run threw my head for about 10 minutes which felt like eternity.

I eventually gathered all of my strength and left the car. When i walked up to the porch i finally met Andrew's eyes. Just as beautiful as i remembered. He was wearing his leather jacket which he never fails to bring along with him, jeans, and one of the t-shirts i had bought him for his birthday.

We were both silent. Until we both decided to break the silence at the same time...

Andrew POV

Once my shift ended I decided that i should finally go and clear the air with Mer. There was a chance that she wouldn't be home but I thought I would take that chance. When I arrived at her house I didn't see her car and I thought about leaving. But a part of me told me to stay just for a bit longer.

After about 10 mintues I was about to leave when I saw her car. Suddenly I get nervous. I really didn't think over what I was going to say to her. I wanted to run at that very moment...but that was when our eyes met. And then I knew I couldn't move.

As she walked up to me I looked at her fully for the first time in a while. She looks stressed, scared, and a little sad? And all i could think about is if i was that person who caused her that sadness. Maybe coming here was a bad idea or maybe its good to clear the air?

I guess we both had the same idea because we both decided to say something at the same time.

-You can go if you want

-Okay well I-

And thats when headlights from a car came flashing in both of our faces. The car was unfamiliar to me. It reminded me of the night of the fire at Jackson's house. Until I saw it was Hayes coming out of the car.

Suddenly my stomach grows cold. I don't know what to do or what to think. Are they really together?

Meredith's POV

Right as Andrew was going to say something a car pulls into my driveway. As I struggle to see who it is due to the bright lights, I see Hayes walking out of the car with my coat in his hand. I knew I forgot something I say in my head as I silently curse myself and Hayes.

As Hayes is walking up I can see the disbelief and astonishment in Andrew's face, and all I want to do is explain whats going on right now to him.

Hayes finally reaches where we are and says
- Uhh sorry if I'm interrupting anything but you forgot this at the bar Grey

- Oh thank you, you really didn't have to bring it over here you could've given it to me tomorrow at work

- It's fine I actually I live right by Hayes Says

I notice Andrew looking away and I think Hayes does as-well so he decides to say goodbye

- Well okay, goodnight

Goodnight I say as Andrew just mumbles  goodbye. As Hayes is about to leave I see him leaning in to me and he kissed me on the cheek

I see a mix of hurt and amusement on Andrew's face and Hayes leaves.
