Chapter 12: Unexpected date

Hi readers! I am deeply sorry for the false promises I made for the updates. It's just that, I've been really busy with school works and I'm a person with many responsibilities in life. Y/n's POV

After a few months from that incident, I was back to normal. I am still cautious about the things that I did. Before sleeping, I made sure to close all windows, curtains, and even some items in my room and the living room.

Well, Yoora, like an overprotective mom, would always accompany me in doing things. Anika would always check all our rooms one by one each day. Sometimes they would sleep beside me to make sure I am comfortable and safe in my room. Whew talk about bestfriend goals.

Anyways, I did not say this issue to Jungkook because he might think I am just using him to protect me, which is not true. Wait, while we're on the subject of him, he is unusually silent to me over the past few days. The last time we talked was that awkward conversation on the phone, after the bracelet he gave me, which is still with me.

Maybe he is just busy with the events of the Grammys. Well, I am still proud of the boys. No grammy, no problem, they managed to make history with their performance.

Jungkook is so handsome with his blue hair AAAAA and him, being a drummer? TvT I stanned a multi-talented king. I hope we could see each other again..

"Y/n? Y/n! Y/N!!!" Yoora snapped me from my thoughts and shouted near my ear. I guess I'll be deaf now.

"UNNIE! That freaking hurt!" I shouted at her.

"Serves you right. You weren't even listening to our conversation with Anika here!" Anika was eating her food peacefully from the chaotic mess we started, savoring every inch of the sandwich.

"Sorry." I apologized, not wanting to argue with Yoora again.

"Nah, I think she was daydreaming with her lovely Jungkook with rainbows and hearts all over them." Anika started while looking at me with a deadpanned expression.

"What?! No." I quickly denied her statement. She was right tho but the rainbow and hearts thing is out of topic. Or is it? 

Yoora just shrugged and pushed aside what Anika said. "As I was saying, we were talking about that stalker a few months ago."

"We want you to think hard Y/n. We want to know who he is and what his intentions to you." Anikka said with worry in her voice and Yoora with the same expression on her face.

"I'm still thinking about that unnie. I'm still tracing my footsteps from high-school."

Yoora sighed with my answer while Anikka nodded with it. The silence from our conversation grew, but it suddenly came to a halt when I received a notification on my phone.

They quickly went to my side and watched me open the notification. Surprisingly, it was Jk! A smile formed on my face as I read his message.

I'm sorry for the months I missed since we chatted. Let's meet up somewhere to catch up. What do you say?

Wait, is this what I think it is?

"Oh wow, looks like Y/n has a date today." Yoora wiggled her eyebrows.

I blushed HARD from Yoora's comment while re-reading his message all over again. A date? Yeah, just a friendly date.

"He's just a friend Yoora! We're not dating. Stop it!" 

Yoora chuckled with my answer and said "Not dating, yet " in a manner, she can only hear.

I quickly replied to his message. It's okay, I understand. Sure! We can catch up, but where do you want us to meet up?

A few seconds later, the sound of a ding emitted from my phone. Wow, he sure is fast.

Maybe we can hang out in the Han River? Banpo Bridge park? I'll be there at 4.

Sure!

Woah. A date with Jeon Jungkook at the Han River. TvT Please help me, I think I'm in a dream.

I looked at my unnies and they knew what I was thinking. We quickly went back to our hotel, and they pushed me to my room.

Well, I guess it's time to prepare for our date.

Jungkook's POV

It's been months since I talked with Y/n. I have to admit, I really miss her. I hope she's doing fine so far. I've been thinking about meeting her but I'm afraid that she'll be busy and would reject me. 

After minutes of debating, I finally came to a conclusion to ask her about having a friendly date. I blushed at the fact that we're having a date.

I was slowly becoming nervous, waiting for her answer. After a few minutes, a notification popped out on my screen. It was Y/n's reply.

It's okay, I understand. Sure! We can catch up, but where do you want us to meet up?

I smiled as I replied to her answer. I'm so excited to meet her after a long time.

Maybe we can hang out in the Han River? Banpo Bridge park? I'll be there at 4.

Sure!

Now, we'll have to prepare for our so-called date. See you Y/n.
