Chapter 33

Prips pov

Why in the world did I wanna have more people, now how do I handle this. Where is that Josh I am gonna kill him from my hands, he had to only go around and tell her that I am his girlfriend. Mahiro is gonna think I didn't tell her anything, what would everyone be thinking?

They all kept in staring, Josh was looking embarrassed and confused too.
"Hahaha you uhm must've gotten the wrong people, we never came here umh I have uhm seen you for the first time." Josh tried to lie but the way he spoke it was quite bad, they must've got the idea that he was lying.

"Yeahh l have never been here." I also tried to cover up

"Come on let's have food we have the dance round in an hour lets be fast." Josh said and then we ate but I barely wanted to eat after that.
Then we all chipped in and were leaving

"We need to talk." Mahiro  told me and entered the building. I was doomed she is gonna know and will never stop teasing me it was better for her to eat in the cafeteria.

Now the dance round was in 15 min as usual I started to get nervous and I had butterflies in my stomach. I couldn't see Josh anywhere.

Then after around 5 minutes he came amd gave me the drink he always gave me. But this time i knew what it was and I actually was very touched.

Josh pov

I will just give her this, though she knows what is it now, it would be good for her.

I gave her the drink and she seemed touched but I know after the results she is going to kill me for what happened there.

We all sat down Spencer, mr. Song and mr. Jung came. They gave us good wishes and announced the first pair, it was Roy and Vanya. They were so good. I could see Prips getting nervous, her hands were trembling so I grabbed her hands. That moment our eyes met.

After 2 more performances, it was our chance to perform. I was confident that we both will do good, Prips had been underestimating herself but I saw and knew she is a brilliant dancer.

We got up and I was still holding her hands, then I let go of her hand got ready to perform. Our dance song must've had the most intense choreography than others. The moment we started dancing our the looks on our race changed. Prips became some other person and did the dance flawlessly.
When we finished, we got a great applause and i believe the applause was louder than the singing round.

Like this in the next 2 hours everyone performed their acts. And to be honest everyone was so good. I knew it would be hard for the judges to evaluate.

"Very good everyone, you all did really well and if you don't make the final cut don't feel discouraged, practice more and a little more hard work. We will be announcing the participants who won in 30 minutes." Spencer told this and then he and the the other two went out to their office to discuss.

I was just too nervous now didn't know what to say.

"What if we don't have a good ranking, what will happen to us?" Bell said, she seemed as if she was going to cry in the next minute.
I went in front of her put my hands on her cheeks and said "you were very good, don't stress." And then I pulled her cheeks.

"Ahh it hurts, remove your hands." Then she laughed and looked so cute.

Then everyone was just sitting and waiting for the results, no one was talking or doing anything.

Then came mr. Jung, we all stood up. I was so nervous and I felt like I wanna throw up.

"We have made our decision and mr. Song will announce the first ten partners and the rest four would have to leave the contest." Mr. Jung said.

"And the first place in the dance round is...." my heartbeat went up and down.
"The first place is the same as vocal round, priyanka and Josh.

I was so so so happy, I almost cried. Prips who was next to almost screamed. I couldn't believe that it was us who came the first place.

"The second place is carlyn and malvin, the third place is Roy and Vanya, the fourth place is bell and blink, the fifth place is Mahiro and sid, the sixth place is gai and Joanne, the seventh place is jasmine and noah, the eight place is queen and perry, the ninth place is krystian and jessica and the final pair who is going to the next round is jae and kelly. Congratulations to everyone and the rest four pairs can go the main office, mr. Bold is there he will tell you the details."

The rest four went out and they seemed very sad and I felt bad for them, they were really good too. We all then got up
Mr. Jung went "congratulations to all of you, today you have a day off. You all can go rest or eat out or have fun but from tomorrow there is going to be a very strict training. You all will have a two day camp from tomorrow and then after that you will be given  a week to get ready with your act in the performance round. Now for today go have fun and enjoy."

And now both of them left and we all screamed and I was so excited and happy. I saw prips there she was coming towards me and I also went near her and hugged her.
