"What the Hell?!" The collar of his shirt is stuck within my monstrous grip as I slam him into the nearest rose pink wall the moment we step inside the Noble building.

"Kris! Let me-" I cut him off by slamming him into the wall again.

"I don't want to hear whatever it is you have to say! Think you can just...just lie to me?" I'm screaming at the top of my lungs at him. Damn idiot!

"I never said I wasn't noble!" He shouts back defensively.

"But you let me believe you were poor like everyone else! Not some snobby Noble with a stick up his-"

"Kris! Stop it! People will see you." Lina whisper yells at me.

"I don't care! Let them see. Let them see that this jerk over here who might I add, forced his way into my house, is nothing but a stupid, lying Lion Boy!" My grip on his shirt tightens. I refuse to let go.

"Kris can't we talk this out like civil people?" Lion boy pleads.

"There's nothing civil about you." I spat. I hear some people's footsteps behind me and a woman gasp. The footsteps run quickly across the hall behind me.

"Guards!" A man shouts in a deep voice. "Guards! A nobleman is being attacked by some filth!"

"Krissy, let's go. Please!" Lina grabs my shoulder, trying to pull me back. But I only force my way forward and Lion Boy's head pounds against the wall behind him yet again.

"Hey, you! Step away from that young man!" I turn my head to see a tall buff man in a guard's uniform walking towards me. His piercing brown eyes observe me head to toe, making sure I was unarmed. I turn back to Lion Boy and lean in close.

"Leave me alone. I never want to see your stupid face again." I search his fearful eyes. The fear slowly leaves them and a cocky glimmer emerges.

"Likewise." He spits out. I let go of him and grab Lina's hand, dragging her out of there.

"Idiot."

"Come on you stupid thing!" I try once again to get the water to flow out of the old faucet. The knob refuses to budge and I can hear the pipes in the wall groan. Finally, I get the water running and turn it to hot. Thomas told me I need to calm down and take a dang bath. Thing is, I hate baths. I used to love them but I became aware that all you're doing is sitting in your own filth. Trust me when I say that here in M section A, most of us are fithy as can be. I'm lucky we can even afford bathing in this house.

I strip down to nothing as the small tub fills with the steaming water and look in the mirror. My hair falls down my back and I notice several large tangles. Groaning, I reach for my brush which sits on the counter in front of me. I try to brush through the tangles in hopes of breaking them but all they're doing is yanking my hair and pissing me off. I try once more but I stop as I hear several snaps. Looking down at my brush I see that a majority of the bristles on the top have broken off.

"That is it!" I toss my brush aside and reach for the scissors in the corner. "I am sick of this."

I cut shortly above my shoulders in as straight of a line as I can make. I watch in the mirror as large amounts of auburn hair fall to the foor. Once I'm finish I sigh and put down the scissors before turning to the tub of hot water. It's nearly full so I quickly shut off the water and slowly get in. The water sends tingles throughout my entire body as I lay back and make myself as comfortable as possible.

This is all his fault. Stupid Lion Boy. I sigh and look above me at the ceiling.

"Kris?"
