ch. 4:Ice cream

It has been three months and nothing new or exciting has happened between you and Kyotani. Kyotani and I have gotten closer but neither of us dare mention what happened at the movies. both of us has been craving each other's touch but won't say noting. Today I got up for school and began to get ready. I brushed my teeth and did my hair in two small braids connecting on top of the rest of my hair, so its out of my face. I put on my uniform but I couldn't find any spandex or tights. Fuck. " Mom have you seen any of my spandex or tights,"I yelled from my room" Yeah I put them to wash why do you need them" I groaned "My skirt is to small so I wear spandex or tights under" "Oh sorry sweetie." I finish the rest of my routine and go down stairs to eat breakfast. My mom is going in later than usual today so she offered to take me to school but I refused because I wanted to walk with Kyotani. So I continue to walk out the front door to meet up with Kyotani.

Most of the volleyball team has already meet my mom because of how often they go. I walk down the street to meet Kyotani already there. "Hey did I keep you long?" " No I was running a little late today" "Oh alright do have anything to do after school" "No not today But tomorrow I do other than volleyball." " Okay do you want to go get ice cream with me today?" "Sure I don't see why not." "Yay." After that we talked about how dumb Oikawa was to get hit with a volleyball the other day. Once we got to school we went to a vending machine. "Do you want anything I got an extra $2?" "Mmmh yeah give me the takis" " Have you even ate breakfast?" "No why" I didn't respond to his question I grabbed his hand and lead him to class. " Hey I thought you were buying me chips lair." "Well this liar is going to feed you because you don't eat." I sat him down in his seat of his desk. I moved a chair closer to him and I take out my bento from my bag and give it to him with some extra chopsticks. " why are you giving me this what about you?" " I'm only giving you some you can eat the rest later for lunch. Take it" " No not until you tell me what your gonna eat." " Well for your information I wasn't going to eat it anyways I was gonna skip to get something from the corner store," " No." " what? what do you mean no" " I said what I said No." "Really just eat it, stop being complicated" "fine only if you take me with you." Time skip to lunch ---->

I met up with Kyotani at the bathrooms on the first floor. " You ready?" "Yeah you?" "Yeah lets go." We sneakily went to the gates and we jumped on the fence. I was scared to jump off because of my skirt. "If your that scared to jump I'll catch you" "dude I don't have anything under that's why I don't wana flash you." I blushed "I won't look I promise jump." He opened his arms for me to jump and so I did. I landed and nothing happened like I thought was. He let me go and we continued to walk to the corner store."Hey isn't your birthday coming up?" " yeah December 7th why?" " Just are you gonna celebrate it?" "nah I'm just waiting for I can get my drivers license." "You gonna drive me places" I laughed. " You want to" " Yeah why not." We get to the corner store and we start to get our snacks we want.

We get to the cashier and I was about to pay but Kyotani stopped me he pulled out his wallet and paid. Once we got out of the store I spoke up with the bag in his hands. " hey I could've paid ya know." "Could've " "Really Oh my god" I say laughing I nudged him and he chuckled. "hey Ln?" "Mh" "Do you want to maybe go on a date with me?" I looked at him with wide eyes, he looked away blushing. "Um yeah I- Yeah when?" "Next weekend Saturday, around 12:30 pm" "Yeah for sure." I was already blushing, we get back to school just in time for lunch. So basically next week on Saturday since its already Tuesday.

I jumped the fence first and he threw me the bag and jumped. We walked to the back of the school where there was a table and a bench where people rarely go. I set the food down and he grabs his food and my bento from earlier and starts eating, I do the same. After a while of comfortable silence I spoke up boldly," I like you". I continue to eat my food like nothing happened. He froze and blushed, before quickly mumbling "I like you to" I froze. Wait really. I stay quiet for the rest of the time still blushing and stuffing my face. After we are both done eating I get up an throw everything away with him following. Ring!!! " I have to go to class bye" I pull him into a quick hug throwing my arms around his neck. He hesitates but after a while he wraps his arms around my waist. We stay like that for a while then I say," I had a fun time, after your practice Ill meet you at the gates." I gave him a kiss on the cheek and walked away to class swaying my hips in the process.

Time skip ------->

After school, practice should end soon I should getting in my place I stand up and lean on the gates in front of school. Not long after I see him walk up to me. "Hey, lets get going they should be closing soon." He nods and we start heading to the ice cream shop. Once we get there he opens the door for me and I say a small 'thanks' we walk to the counter to get our ice cream. " hi what would you like?" "Can I get a cookies and cream in a cone please." "sure and you sir?" she smiled at him. "Vanilla with a caramel drizzle, cone"he said dead pan towards the lady "Okay it be ready in a second."we paid and sat to wait. I pout she's so pretty and why did she smile at him like that the fuck. "What's wrong why are you all pouty" "Nothing" I smile brightly at him. Little did she know that gave him butterflies. "Here you go have a nice night" the lady gave us our ice cream.

We walk out the store towards to park near our houses.We get on the swings and we start to talk. I ask him,"hey can you hold my cone really quick please?" " Okay what are you doing?" I grab my phone and I start to play a song and start dancing to rhythm. ( Love-Keyshia Cole) I began to start to sing the lyrics, " what you see in her you, ain't see in me, but I guess it was all just make believe" we set the cones down somewhere and I grab his hand to dance with me. I put my arms around his neck and his hands around my waist, I kept singing the lyrics with the song trying to convince him to do it also. "Cmon singgg with me!" I say laughing. He starts to smile a little and began lowly singing along. "Go on baby without youuuu, rainy days fade away" we say in union completely off key. After the song ended we just stayed quiet looking into each others irises. I start to lean in and so did he.

I kiss him. His lips are so soft and gentle I really like this. I felt fireworks I was so happy.We finally separate for air,we just stare at each other, " Will you be my girlfriend please?" I happily smile at him even brighter,"Yes" He lightly smiles picks me up and spins me around. "Hey put me down I'm gonna get dizzy." I say laughing, he puts me down and gives me a quick kiss. I kiss back obviously, we separate and I look at my phone 8:43pm I need to go home. "Hey can you walk me home its getting late." " yeah let's go." We grab the ice cream and throw them away. On the way I play random music that's in my playlist. I start dancing to the music on the way. I start to rub my back against his arm trying to make him dance at least a little. Kyotani still has a small smile from earlier and now. We arrive on my front porch and I ask him" hey do wana come in or anything?" "Mmh you can give me a kiss goodbye." "Mmmh Okay. "

I gave him a small kiss and i lean away just to see him smirk,"What-" He cut me off by pulling me in hands around my waist kissing me passionately. I wrap my arms around his neck pulling him deeper. he separates and nuzzles his head into my neck. Aww he's a soft baby. I play with his hair for a while until he let's go. "Ugh I have to go home" "Aww going to miss me so soon" I tease him " Fine I'll go" he says playfully, he turns around to walk away. I wait for my chance and I run to jump on his back, he quickly catches me stumbling in the process I give him a kiss on the cheek,"Goodnight be safe on the way back okay." "Okay goodnight" he lets me go and gives me a quick kiss then leaves down to his house.

I walk inside and and greet my mom and go straight to my room to change and go to bed. I do my night routine then get in be thinking about today. I smile at the thought of me finally being his girlfriend.
