Roommates

Chapter 1

"Diagon Alley" Ginny said clearly, being careful not to miss-pronounce it. "Harry, you next" Mrs. Weasley said as she handed him a handful of floo powder. "Diagon Alley" Harry all but yelled. "Hermione, its your turn" Mrs. Weasley told her. "Are you sure you don't want to come back for your final year at Hogwarts"?

"Yes, Hermione, I was offered a spot to play on the Cannons and its been my dream to play for them since I first saw them on tv when I was 6." 

"Okay, suit yourself" Hermione said quite disappointedly. "Thank you so much Mrs. Weasley for letting me stay here after the war. I Really appreciate it, I didn't have anywhere else to go, seeing as my parents don't even know they had a daughter. You've been so hospitable and so kind." Hermione said as she gave her a hug. "Of course dear! You're always welcome at the burrow." Molly replied. "Now, you better get going, Harry and Ginny are waiting"!

Hermione picked up a handful of floo powder and said, "Diagon Alley". She closed her eyes, and when she opened them, she saw an excited Harry and Ginny waiting for her. "What took you so long!?" Ginny exclaimed. "Yeah come on lets go!" Harry added.

After they finished getting there school supplies, they decided to sit down and have some lunch at a near by restaurant. They sat down and ordered their food. "I can't wait to go on our trip!" Ginny said. "Gin, its a class. This is for school. It's not just a vacation". Harry told her. Ginny elbowed her boyfriend. I know, but I'm still excited, I've always wanted to go to France!". "You look so cute when you're happy" Harry told his girlfriend. "God you guys are so cute" Hermione interrupted.  After they had lunch they payed the bill and got up. 

"Hermione, where do we get passports?" Harry asked. 'And, what exactly are they?"

"You need a passport when you travel outside of the country, its kind of like a boarding pass." Hermione explained. "When you go through airport security to get on a plane, you have to have one to board." 

"What's a plane?" Ginny asked, confused. "God, you guys are clueless" Hermione said as she put her face in her hands.

When they arrived at the burrow, Hermione took Harry and Ginny to the computer and applied for passports. "When do we get them?" asked Ginny. "In a few weeks" Hermione replied. "A few weeks!" Harry exclaimed. "Mione why does it take so long!?" "Don't ask me, I didn't invent them". Hermione said. 

A few weeks later, their passports arrived in the mail. The next few days were torture for Hermione. She was so excited to get back to school and go on the trip. Harry and Ginny wouldn't stop talking about it. When they finally got to king's cross station they boarded the train and waved goodbye to the Weasleys. They arrived at Hogwarts and entered the great dining hall. 

Professor Mcgonagall gave her usual welcome back speech and then asked for 1st-6th years to go back to their common rooms after the feasts. Once it was just the 7th years left Mcgonagall started talking about the new class and all the details. She gave us our partners and Hermione was shocked when Mcgonagall gave her her partner.
