My name is Alyssa. Alyssa Napp. It's a Friday night and as usual I'm sitting in my room with my best friend Sage. It isn't that I'm a loner and have no friends or anything, I just don't like to party. But just because I don't go out and get shit faced every weekend doesn't mean I'm a nerd or anything.
Sage and I got invited to go hang out with other people but we couldn't be bothered to socialize with our "friends" who are really just people we talk to at school, even though they annoy the hell out of us.
The truth is it's our fault we are sitting here alone. As I'm in the middle of pondering over this Sage bust out laughing at her phone. I grab it out of her hands to see she's laughing at another Twitter fight. What's a weekend without some of the 'popular' kids getting into an argument? Most of the tweets don't even make sense due to the fact that all of those kids are either drunk and/or high to the point that I'm surprised they even know up verses down.
One tweet stood out to me though. Brandon Smith's. All he did was quote Talia's tweet with laughing faces, yet it caught my attention. All of my friends tease me saying that Brandon and I would be cute together. I had convinced myself that I didn't like him at all, but I knew that I wasn't being completely honest with myself. It didn't matter though. He was the popular party boy and I was just average. I doubt he hardly knows who I am considering I've never talked to him.
I started to think about what it would be like to get to know him but Sage snapped her fingers in my face interrupting my day dream.
"ugh Alyssa I'm fucking bored lets do something," she wined throwing her body down on my bed.
"There's nothing to do Sage. Let's just order pizza or something and watch movies," I replied rolling my eyes at her as she lay there sprawled out across the bed.
We really needed to find boyfriends or something to keep us busy. There goes another boring Friday night wasted.
Okay so I know this is short and not very interesting but I'm trying to just get the story going. Thank you so much if you're reading this, it means a lot to me. xx
