One Of A Kind

"Hello Draco," I said in a seductive tone, turning around shivering to his touch.

"Y/N, what are you doing with Castile?" he said slowly wrapping his fingers around my throat.

"What do you think?" I said winking at him.

"You better not be fucking him," He says pushing me against the nearby wall.

"Oh, is someone jealous, it's not like your not sleeping with my sister." I spat getting out of his grip and walking away. I felt him grab my wrist and turn me around, I proceeded to slap him, as I heard slight cheering as I confidently strutted towards the common room, pulling Castile with me who had just witnessed my slapping performance.

"Hey, before I go all worried friend, can I just mention how badass that was." I chuckled under my breath, he doesn't know how much it means to me when he says stuff like that, "Now that I have said that, where have you been the past 3 days," without any hesitation I focused on the sound of his blood pumping and the veins under my eyes started popping out as I hissed my fangs and did a quick run around the room. I quickly contained myself as a couple of first years walked by. Castile's mouth stayed open for the entirety of my act,

"You unlocked your abilities. Omg, do you need to drink blood? How do you look like as a wolf? Are you gonna eat me? Can you compel people, maybe better witches? Is it like the imperious curse? Can you make me a vampire?" he kept rambling to the point, where I seriously regretted telling him about it.

"Castile, you are causing a scene, remember nobody can know," I said slowly mouthing to him, as if he were a four-year-old.

"Okay but can you please answer some of my questions?" he said giving me the puppy eyes, he knows I can't resist those. But I couldn't help but think back to the first seconds of my entrance. His cold rings against my throat, his breath so close I could feel it on my tongue. No, no, no this is seriously not happening right.

"Uh, y/n you alright?" he whispered, he could tell something was off.

"Mhm yes, why don't I just tell you the whole story," his eyes glistened as if that's what he wanted all along.

After driving Castile through an emotional rollercoaster, of my past few days, he was relieved to know that he was the first person I told, and with that, he was off. I walked to my dorm to find a letter on my desk, with a black stamp, I opened it curiously, and then the peppermint scent filled me.

Dear Y/N,

I have no idea, why I am actually doing this, but there is something I have to know.

Astronomy tower 11 pm. Don't be late.

d.m

I can't believe I was just shaken up, my heart flustered by just the mere thought that he would want to meet me there. I was curious, excited, and yet terrified. I had no idea what any of this meant, and I have still yet to see my sister.

The rest of the day seemed to pass by like a blur, as I walked down to dinner with Luna. I noticed Dumbledore had stood up at the front of the Great Hall. He had an announcement. Everyone went silent as he started to explain the upcoming Triwizard tournament. I wasn't very interested, I knew Hope and I were safe, we can't get past the age line. And while a part of me wants to compete, just to prove my sister wrong, I knew that was selfish and that could never happen. She was meant to be the one in the limelight and I would always be second best. But just the injustice in that thought made me cripple. The students from the Beauxbatons school entered, immediately, all the boys' eyes on them, as jealous girlfriends looked away. But there was only one guy that didn't look. Draco. He was staring at me, piercing my soul with his grey eyes from across the room, I could already feel my heart throbbing, but I wasn't going to let him have this effect on me. It's not going to be worth the heartbreak that follows.

As dinner passed, and the Durmstrang boys also came into the school, I started walking towards the common room, but decided on going on an evening stroll. I wasn't much of a walker, but walking around Hogwarts, and the Forbidden Forest were my happy place. I ended up at the Astronomy tower right before 11pm, to find that I had gotten there first. I put my hands on the railing as the wind brushed up against my y/h/c hair, as I suddenly smelt, a strong minty scent, and before I knew it I was up against the Astronomy Tower wall, his eyes staring deeply into mine, as my breath settled.
"So, are you gonna tell me why you brought me up here?" I asked not daring to tear my eyes away from his, he seemed angry from what had happened earlier but at the same time he looked sad, I couldn't read him.
"Well, I thought I would test out a theory," his mouth formed a devilish smirk as he stuck his hand into his pocket, pulling out a purple flower, putting next to my face, as I slowly moved away. I could smell I knew what it was, and how much it would sting if I neared it. Vervain. He knew, and he wasn't afraid. Or maybe he was, "You see, I know exactly where you were, what you did, most importantly what you are. Y/N Mikealson the heretic who knew?" He said laughing psychotically as he bit his lip.
"Well, well who knew my secret would be revealed?" I started laughing just as insanely as him, staring at him, "But guess what, I have another surprise." his face contorted, he was confused. I started at him as his eyes filled with fear, as my eyes started to glow yellow, and I slowly began to transform my arm into a claw, "I'm not a heretic, Draco Malfoy. I'm the only one of my kind." I said as I raised my hand pulling his wand into the air and into my hand, slowly starting to raise him off the ground by the throat, "A tribrid."
