Chapter 8: New Arrival

[I needed to draw Sasha Braus because I'm still grieving about seeing her death. I was crying like a mf the whole time I drew this, and in the morning, I was just pissed off at Gabi for killing Sasha. So basically I'm just in the grieving process. This shit is a bitch. But after watching a video called "What should've happened", I got happy all over again]

"Uh oh. Stomachs growling, huh? That's too bad," Kakashi said after hearing Naruto's stomach growl, while said boy was tied to a tree trunk. But for Sakura and Sasuke, they were both sitting on either side of his trunk, while (Y/N) was sitting on top of the tree trunk on the right side of Naruto with Sasuke sitting in between them.

"Oh, by the way, about this exercise. Well, I've decided. I won't send any of you back to the academy," Kakashi said. Earning a happy noise from Naruto, a confused/happy look from Sakura, a cocky 'hnn' from Sasuke, and a blank look from (Y/N), considering she already knows what he's going to say next.

"What? I passed? All I did was faint and fall over, do you give points for that?," Sakura questioned before cheering and doing some kind of happy dance, along with Naruto, but all he could do was wiggle around happily since he's still tied up.

"Then- Then, that means all four of us!," Naruto cheered.

"Yes, all four of you are being dropped from the program. Permanently!," Kakashi declared, causing the three to freeze in place and have shocked and pissed off expressions etched on their face, while once again (Y/N)'s face is as blank as before.

"Drop us from the program!? That means we never can become ninja! You said if we couldn't take the bells then we would be sent back to the academy! You can't just change your mind and kick us out! Why would you do that!?!," Naruto yelled.

" 'Cause you don't think like ninja. You think like little kids, like brats."

Enraged with his response, Sasuke began sprinting towards Kakashi to attack. But, due to Kakashi clearly seeing Sasuke coming towards him, he quickly apprehended him by sitting on his back with his foot on duckbutt's head while twisting his arm back. Sakura obviously wasn't happy about that.

"Don't step on Sasuke!!", Sakura yelled as (Y/N) turned her head away to try and keep her face neutral.

"Are you kids thinking that being a Ninja is easy? Huh? Why do you think you're doing this exercise in teams?", Kakashi said, confusing the three.

"Put simply... it's as if you guys have no understanding of the answer to this test."

"Answer...?", Naruto questioned.

"Yes. The answer that determines passing or failing of this test."

"That's... what I've wanted to ask about for a while now", Sakura said, making (Y/N) internally groan.

'I forget how dumb they are when they are younger. I mean, like, c'mon dude even I figured this out when I first watched this scene. And I was, like what, (Y/A) at the time? [Your Age]', (Y/N) thought.

"Man, are you guys brainless or what? Don't you get the meaning of the three-man squad? Or in our case, four-man squad?!"

"Jeez!! What of three people to a squad?!"

"That's... teamwork!"

"You mean, working together?"

"Oh for fuck sake's! If we tried working together then we would've gotten the damn bells, that's what he's trying to say! But knowing you guys, I knew you wouldn't cooperate", (Y/N) said, getting up off her spot on the tree trunk to stand on the ground before continuing.
