that's all you can hear and see. They should have expected this, they should have KNOWN.

yet they didn't and this is the outcome....

betrayal and loss

~dream p.o.v.~

"mama"

~silence~

I began to shake and cry as all the memories flood back into my brain

they took mama and uncle. I can see everything clearer now

"Where am i" asking no one in general. Remembering my brother I look around noticing he is nowhere to be seen. I get up now noticing that I am in the kitchen. As I try to walk out my leg gives out and I fall to the ground. I quickly shake it off and go off to find my brother. Walking down what seems to used to be a hallway I find a familiar metal door. As I put the passcode in I slowly walk in to find my peaceful sleeping brother, him being unaware about what happened and of whats to come. we can't stay here anymore I can't let Tubbo get hurt he's all I have left in my family. I didn't notice the tears coming out of my face, I was in my own world at the moment filled with pain and sorrow. a bomb explodes getting me out of my daydream I quickly jump out the window with my brother Tubbo leaving behind the remains of my home. setting off on a new journey to start a new life.

~third person~

Dream has set out on his journey with his little brother Tubbo to find a home. It may have taken him a week but dream found a decent home for them to live in, it was a small cottage in the middle of the forest. But dream knew that this wasn't enough to raise Tubbo the right way so he decided that when the war back home stopped he would bring Tubbo back. for the next 3 years Dream raised Tubbo giving him the best life he can offer, he even taught him how to defend himself. but the day he dreaded was coming up he knew that so he made the most of the time he had with Tubbo.

~3 months later~

Today was the day, the day dream dreaded the most. it was time to take Tubbo home. He stands up from where he was sitting going outside to get Tubbo. "tubbo!!" he calls. Tubbo came running to his brother down the path with the biggest smile on his face. oh, how dream hated what he had to tell Tuboo. Tubbo sensed the elder's distress slowly his smile faded. Tubbo knew that his brother was hiding something but never questioned it. " we need to talk". dream said in a serious tone. "ok" said Tubbo. they walk inside sitting down on their shared bed sitting in front of each other. "so what is it?" tubbo questioned. Dream breathed in and sighed not wanting to have this conversation, but it needs to be done. "tubbo I know this will upset you but..." dream paused. "I'm bringing you home," dream says shakily. Tuboo confused said "but this is home". "no tubbo home-home". immediately tuboo knew home as in the place they used to live and where it "killed" our parents. Tubbo began to shake and cry he knew dream only meant him dream wasn't going with him. dream engulfed tubbo in a hug telling him everything will be fine "ill always be watching you from the shadows I will keep you and the kingdom safe". tubbo seemed to calm down at that. "when will we be leaving?" tubbo said. "at midnight" dream states. tubbo happy that he can spend some time more with his brother smiled. for the rest of the day they played around wishing the day wouldn't end, but  as they say all good things come to an end, as midnight rolled around they got ready to leave. just as they were about to leave tubbo shouts "wait!" he runs back into the room grabbing something coming back out with a white porcelain mask with a smiley face. tubbo goes up to dream and hands it to him "for you". "thanks" dream replied. both walked in a comfortable silence to tubbo's soon to be home. 

when they got there they noticed some guards patrolling the area. so dream grabbed tubbo jumped onto the tree and over the brick wall to the front door of the royal castle. dream set tubbo down hugging each other tightly as they won't see each other for a while. as they let go dream pulls out a cute bee pin and hands it to tubbo. tubbo puts it on as dream puts on his mask. they say their last goodbyes telling each other they'd see the other soon. as soon as dream left tubbo knocked with the door knockers. it takes a second but someone opens the door.

"Tubbo!?"
