*Christelles POV*
I flew home and went to my room. I layed down on my bed and curled up into a ball.
"AAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I screamed and started jumping up and down on my bed. Dad came rushing in and looked at me like I was crazy. I wouldn't stop jumping. My dad just shook his head back and forth and left. Ashley came barging in after he left.
"What happened?!?!!??" she asked. I looked at her.
"He. Kissed. Me." I managed to get out.
"Oh snap girl!!" Ashley said trying to imitate a preppy girl.
"I know right! I thought I would regret going against my father, but I feel like I never had before. Not even when I'm flying!" I said exaperated. Ash looked at me.
"You know what this means Chrissy, right?"
"What does it mean?" I asked nervously.
"I have to meet him silly!!" Ash smiled a dazzling smile.
"You can come with me tomorrow night."
"I better be able to!" She smiled. I laughed and changed into my pajamas. When I was done I sat on my bed and Ashley followed.
"Want some pop corn?" I asked.
"Is that even a question?? Haha of course I do." Ashley said. I called the maid and within a few minutes there was freshly popped popcorn in our laps. The buttery smell seemed to match my insides, warm. My lips were still tingeling and my legs started to feel like jelly as the news truely started to take over my body. I couldnt help but smile and Ash looked at me and smiled as big as me.
"I remember my first kiss with Jon. We just got back from our first date and right before I was about to walk inside he kissed me. It was the best night of my life, and after that first kiss I knew he was the one." Ash said going back in time to her memories. I snapped my fingers infront of her and she just waved my hand away. I sighed and went on my balcony.
As I looked over my country I heard the buggle birds singing a sweet melody. The wildflowers were just starting to bloom and there was a lone cat skimming across the field of flowers. I looked up at the sky and saw our two moons. The clouds floated like cotton balls across the sky. I feel a nudge on my thigh and see my pet tiger Stripes. Original right? He nudges me again and i sit on the ground. I peek into m room and see Ashley still sitting on my huge silk bed still in a daydream.
I turn to Stripes and tell him everything. He has always been the best listener, he never judged me and we had a special bond between us. I rescued him on Earth when I found his dead mother, who had been shot by a hunter, I picked him up and held him close to my chest. His baby fur tickling my chin. I spread my wings out and flew back to Anadine to show him to my father. Dad said I could keep him and I have been his mother ever since.
I look at him and smile after I tell him what happened. Stripes looked at me with a gleam in his eyes as if he knew what I was rambling on about. He licked my knee and left. I laughed as he trudged along my thick white carpet, and out my door. Ashley finally got out of her daydream and joined me on the ground of my balcony.
"Did you tell Stripes everything?" She asked.
"Of course! haha" I grinned. My dad walked in at that same moment with a sad look on his face. Ashley got the memo and left.
"I'll see you tomorrow." She whispered on the way out. I nodded and my dad came over to me.
"Come here darling." He said in his deep gravely voice. I sat down on my bed ,cross-legged next to him.
"I have some news for you." He said.
"What?" I asked.
"The Prince of Alagasia would like your hand in marraige."
I sat on the bed and looked at him with confusion written all over my face. The best day of my life just turned to the worst night ever.
