My name, Moon Child. I never really understood as to why I was given that name. The name Moon Child revolves around someone who enjoys the moon, like phases and stuff. I never really admired the moon like I have seen other people do. I find it strange but heck what can I do about it.

I live in a rural place, like a city. I live in a apartment near a alley way leading to clear roads. I live near a "Racing Yard" as they call it. Everyone below me in my apartment always complain about the roaring engines through the nights, along with the sound of police sirens running through the roads. Everyone has left their complaints and everyone has seen it all happen. However, I am different.

If I told my neighbors that I had an alliance with them, they would kill me and tell me to tell them to stop their recklessness. So I always keep to myself. It is early in the morning and I wake up and do my normal morning routine. Like you know those vloggers that are like, "Hey there I am your girls Sandra and this is my morning vlog!" Or something like that. I honestly have a boring morning routine I don't really do anything except for taking a shower and having breakfast. Well I am going to take a shower and get ready.

After taking a shower I get dressed and have breakfast. I gain emotion as I run and get my keys and run through my front door, ready to see my beauty. I race down the stairs of my apartment because elevators are slow. I race down greeting everyone I know.

Moon Child: Hello Mr. Velazquez.

Mr. Velazquez: Hello there Moon Child. Why in such a hurry?

Moon Child: Oh, umm...I have this thing I have to do at this place, and if I don't get there in time I lose my spot.

Mr. Velazquez: Oh well then Moon Child, be safe and I wish you luck to get there in time. See you around!

Moon Child: Same to you Mr. Velazquez, see you around and thank you.

That is Mr. Velazquez he is a professor in a local high school that is near the apartment complex. He is a nice dude. I treat him with respect and he treats me as his good friend sometimes. I like to think of him as a friend but sometimes as something else....a father figure. I never really had a father in my life and my mom had left me on my own after I went to chase for my passion. I have been on my own for a while but I manage to move in situations. I am only 17 and living alone, have education, no job, neither a girlfriend. That is alright though. I don't need anyone in my life. I run solo. My passion didn't appeal to my mom after I told her what I wanted to do, so she kicked me out.

As I reached the entrance to the apartment complex I wave Mr. Velazquez goodbye and he did the same in return. I ran out and went running through the parking lot. I ran faster as I saw her in the distance. My passion? Well it is something I question myself each morning but I manage to find the answer each time I see her. My liking is cars, with cars in mind I look at the beauty and say to myself "My passion is racing". I saw as her paint glistened and I saw as it stood there parked in the parking lot.

I get in my car and rev up the engine. I can feel that anger from my neighbors. I hear as one neighbor opens their window and shout towards me "GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE WITH THAT LOUD ASS CAR, YOU FUCKER!" Funny thing is that I know her name. I recognized her face and voice as I drove off. Her name is Amanda she is 18. She just moved in a year after me. I laugh every time she screams at me. I like her because when I always get back we talk and hang out together. She doesn't know that the car making all the noise is mine because I usually come back at night. However, if she knew it was me, she would be mad at me and scold me. Which for that reason, I keep my mouth shut.

As I drive off onto the roads and admire the people waking up and looking like morning zombies in their car. I drive past Mr. Velazquez's school as I see the students walking to school. Some ask me if I go to school and I would tell them no because after Middle school I moved on to early college and ever since I have been chasing my passion. Though after my mom kicked me out, it has been tough. However, I still do my races. This is where I my life is so far.

This is my story. My name is Moon Child and this is my legend...
