Prologue
The day after Lilly turned sixteen
Lilly's POV
I just turned sixteen yesterday and my birthday was amazing but I have had a super high fever for days now. my dad doesn't seem to be worried about it though.
I was currently in my room writing some sheet music for the piano, yes I play the piano it's how I express myself. I decided to go downstairs to see what my brother Jacob is doing.
I saw him setting on the couch, with my phone in his hand?
" What are you doing with my phone " I asked walking up to him. He jumped back in surprise and threw my phone against the wall. I gasped "why did you do that " I screamed " sorry I didn't mean to " he answered. My phone had been snapped in half
All of my pictures of mom and I gone and I can't get them back.
A few tears slipped down my face
"Why are you crying " Jacob asked " you want to know why " I screamed through tears Jake nodded " everything was on this phone, including all my pictures of mom" l cried before running out of the house and into the forest
I kept going until I felt my body shift and I was on all fours
I was a wolf
A few months later
After I phased a few months ago my dad explained that all of our tribes legends were true and that I would become the alpha of the pack. I also made up with Jake and we are back to being loving siblings.
I was currently walking around a beautiful meadow that I found when I heard leaves rustle from behind me.
"Who's there " I asked "turn around princess " said a male voice.
When I turned I saw a tall man with dark skin dreadlocks and red eyes . I knew right away that he was not human, ... he was a vampire
I was just about to shift to my wolf form but he used super speed to hurry and grab me. " let me go " I yelled , but before I could say anything else... HE BIT ME.
I fell to the ground in agonizing pain screaming and crying until everything went black.
