it was first class and i already wanted to go home.

Last night had been rough. Yesterday I came home to my parents arguing in the kitchen wich then led me to go cry in my bedroom for an hour. I woke up from a nap with Theresa yanking the covers off of me and shout-whispering that I had a dance class in 15 minutes and that I needed to get dressed.

I love dance, but in that moment i seriously would rather clean every toilet in the house then have to race to get to class on time.

And if those weren't enough to ruin the good mood i had been for the last week I had to finish 3 classes worth of homework at 11pm.
I've tried not to think about the fact I might be entering another depressive episode because let's be honest, they're never fun and i can never get any work done so it's very inefficient for me.

"...and I'm sure brandy can read the next line in this chapter?"

I blinked out of my trance and realized I had been blatantly staring at the desk in front of me for half of this class.

"uhh yeah sure um... sorry what chapter are we on?"

I felt a tap on my shoulder and tilted my head backwards to see my best friend milo mouthing the number 12.

I got the hint and quickly flipped to the chapter and found the page and squeaked out the lines the teacher wanted me to read.

Me and milo have been friends for longer than i can remember. Our parents met somewhere before we were both born and I guess we've just grown up together. He's 1/5 of our friend group, including me, Laila, Adrienne, and June. Technically Milo's boyfriend, Liam, is a part of our little group as well but I wouldn't completely consider him one of the girls. They'd been dating for a few months now and he's definitely my favourite partner milo's had.

With the bell signifying class is over, I stuff all my books and binders back into my bag and push out of my chair towards the door.

"Hey whore, there's a big party tonight at my husband-to-be's place tonight and you..."

he uses his pointer finger to push me a bit

"...are coming. Laila and June refused to come because they said they had homework"
he dramatically rolled his eyes and used quotations on his fingers for the word "homework"

"so that leaves me with you" he scoffs sarcastically and i roll my eyes and playfully punch him.

"Heyyy i'm not that boring I just like being alone and you know how quick my social energy runs out" i pout at him

"good point you are VERY anti-social when you want to be. But anyways are we going to your house or mine to get all glammed up?" he poses in the middle of the hallway like a crazy gay person and my eyes widen at the sight.

"oh my god stop you are so embarrassing!" i grab his arm and pull him down the hallway to our final class of the day.

he chuckles but doesn't resist my pulling.

"to answer your question from before, let's just go to your place because my dad takes forever to text or call back."

"ok bye loser" he nods and struts away from me, leaving me at the entrance of the class.

I roll my eyes and walk through the door only to realize that harry hasn't been in any of our classes today. I wonder if he's okay, is he sick? Why do i even care? I literally met this boy like a day or two ago...but that doesn't mean I haven't been tho king of him.

I set aside my thoughts and decide that I'm going to get shit faced drunk tonight to make sure I don't overthink all the the things going on in my life right now.
