It was that absolutely delicious smirk that had her captivated. So perfectly it adorned his lips, moving slowly to reveal a neat line of teeth and a tongue that slipped between. He was a treat, with his dark hair and dangerously light eyes that shone even more when he saw her. She was convinced that he was the one she'd wreck havoc with, and he was blind enough to let her.

JJ knew he was a specialist. It was written all over him, with the way he held himself leaning against the stone wall outside the building. And she instantly decided she wanted to know his name. He wanted to know hers just as much, but he wasn't one to walk up and ask for it.

Riven wanted her to come to him. She knew it too. When he caught her eyes and gave her that inviting smile, it told her enough. Come over. And who was she to say no?

She was a fairy of light, her eyes incredibly bright in their grey and her hair a shining auburn, and all in all she could easily take the breath away of many. Her legs were long and thin and her figure was simply immaculate. JJ was the very embodiment of perfect, yet the girl knew she was anything but.

Of course she was flawed, but that wasn't something that would get to her. Especially now, when her very being reflected in his eyes as he stared at her. Riven was watching her, curious and easily drawn into her beauty. Never had he seen a girl like her, and never did he think he'd forget her.

The girl before him wouldn't let him even if he tried.

"I like your jacket. Suits you," she reached for his shoulder, making him stand straight with a grin. Her flirtatious nature could've been deemed shameful, but it caught him immediately. The leather was rough on her fingers, slipping away as she let her hand fall to her waist again.

"And I like what I see, so now what?" Her eyes gleamed, biting down on her red stained lips that he easily wanted to ruin with his own.

"I'll have to think on an answer. Perhaps we can start with your name?" He chuckled, reaching down for a cigarette that he placed between his lips, aware of her eyes never leaving his movements. Riven revelled in the attention that she gave him without question, letting her light his cigarette without a word shared between them.

"Riven," he answered eventually, seeing her eyes as she took the cigarette from him to inhale. He definitely liked her forwardness, eager to know what else she may try with the way she watched him.

"I'm JJ," his grin only widened, holding a teasing mirth in its undertone.

"What kinda name is that?"

"One you won't forget, Riven," and the way she said his name, how she let it slip with a voice so tastefully sweet and tender, he knew he was ruined. As she walked away, he couldn't help but admire every step she took, like she was the only being deserving of his attention.

And that's exactly the day they fell apart.

Riven quickly established himself as quite an asshole, but JJ didn't find it to be a problem. So he wasn't the nicest person and not everyone liked him, but there was something absolutely thrilling about the way he'd pay attention to her. She didn't always love attention, but she certainly loved his, and anything that would get it, she wouldn't oppose to doing.

It was a very, very dangerous game they'd started to play.

Sky was adamant that Riven should've known better. As soon as his blonde best friend noticed the very electrifying attraction, he saw the danger within it too. But regardless of what he said, Riven didn't listen. Not that it was all too surprising, but with this, Sky really wished his friend had listened.
