Life for Jimmy was tough. Jimmy was always harassed and bullied, especially in school. Today was no exception. As he walked off the bus and put his headphones in, he suddenly found himself on the hard concrete. He had been tripped by a few other kids. The worst part? This was in front of everyone. All the kids started laughing and pointing at him. Jimmy wished he could just cease from existence. This wasn't fair! He didn't deserve this and he knew it. He felt so cold and alone, and the temperature around him felt like 20 degrees. So cold... Jimmy's breathing started lacking, and it hadn't helped that he ran half a mile before getting on the bus, just so he was able to catch a ride before it left. Eventually, he caught his breath. As the bell rang, all the kids headed inside, and Jimmy got up to do the same.

As you could expect, Jimmy was late to class. After the bell rang, he had to go to the bathroom to clean himself up, because of the school's ridiculous uniform policies. When he entered class, everyone snickered. Jimmy instantly knew he was gonna get chewed out.

"Mr. Johnson, why are you late again? No excuses this time!" the angry teacher yelled.

"Well either way, anything I say is an "excuse" to you," Jimmy angrily replied.

"How well is that working for you? Hm..?" Jimmy said with obvious insult. He angrily stamped out of the room, hating every second of existence more.

After having the normal conversation with the principal, he got picked up by his parents. His parents went off on him, but Jimmy was so used to this. Jimmy's parents were major hypocrites, constantly drunken out of their minds. He had enough with their foolishness. He knew he had to get help. Call the police on them?.. Already tried, and failed. Maybe talk to someone about it? That can't go wrong, right?

The next day, Jimmy went to school by walking. He didn't want any drama, especially in front of everyone. When Jimmy got to school, everyone was nowhere to be seen. He realized he was late, once again. Letting out a long groan, Jimmy headed inside to get to class.

A few hours later he went to his favorite teacher for help.

"Excuse me Mr. Charles, can we talk?" asked Jimmy.

"Sure kid, come in. What do you need?" questioned Mr. Charles.

"Well... My parents have been really mean and aggressive lately.." Jimmy murmured.

"I'm sure they mean well. Like any strict parent, they want the best for their child!" Mr. Charles calmly and kindly replied.

"No! That's not how it is!" exclaimed Jimmy.

"If it gets worse, let me now." Mr. Charles said with a soft smile.

Jimmy stormed out of the room feeling majorly hurt. He thought that finally someone could understand. No. Nobody understood. Nobody. Jimmy was sick of it! There's no point in staying if nobody cared.
