Chapter 5

I woke up to someone say Davids name. It was the nurse.

" You won't be able to wake him up. He is A heavy sleeper." I said sitting up.

" Oh, Okay, but when he wakes up he is free to go."

" Okay, thank you. Is his dad still here and my best friend Emily."

" Yes, I will send then in."

" Thank you" I said then she left. I looked down at Davids sleeping face. He so handsome. Then I was broke out of my train of thoughts when I heard the door opened. It was Mr. Duke and then Emily.

" How is he?" Mr. Duke asked.

" He is fine. When he wakes up we are free to go home." I said with a smilie. I was going to show them my ring but...

" What happened?" Mr. Duke asked. The smile on my face went away.

" ummmm, Emily and I were playing around with bows and arrows and Emily slipped and David was behind her and it got him." I said hopping he would buy it and that Emily would play along.

" I'm so sorry. Mr. Duke" Emily said acting all sad.

" its not your fault."

" Oh guess what." I said with a smile. Just to change the subject.

" What....?" Emily said.

" Look" I said holding my hand out.

" Oh, my god, Lisa its pretty." Emily said all happy.

" well its about time." Mr. Duke said with a smile.

" What do you mean?" I asked.

" he has been talking about it for a couple of days now. He was really werid that you would say no."

" Does your parents know?" Emily asked.

" No...." then David woke up.

" Hey, beautiful" he said looking at me.

" Hi, handsome, your dads is here and same with Emily." I said with a giggle. He didnt knoweds that they were right here.

" Oh, hi, guys" David said looking at them.

" I see you finally put a ring on her finger." Mr. Duke said joking around......I think.....

" Really dad." David said smiling and shaking his head. I looked at Emily cuz she was so quit. She was on her phone.

" Who are you texting, Emily?" I asked. Emily looked up from her phone.

" Someone." She said blushing.

" Is it Andy?"

" Maybe" Emily said blushing, the she went back to her phone. I looked back at David.

" The nurse said you are free to go." I said and with that David tryed to get up, fast and almost fell.

" Take it easy, David." Mr. Duke said as he caught David.

" We are not in no cherry, handsome."  I said gitting up.

" What's today?" David asked.

" Its Friday." Emily said still looking at her phone.

" Shit" David said freaking out.

" What" Mr. Duke asked.

" I have a football game."

" Its just a football game, handsome" I said walking up to him.

" No, it really important. We are going against the Lakers, and we never won. I have to be there."
