Ty's POV
"Oh my Notch." Novalee gasped as we landed in front of the Star Base. Or, what was left of it anyways. "It's a lot worse than when I left it..."
All that was left of the crumbled base were a few support beams and crumbled walls. Some pieces a ceiling and walls laid on the ground, flames and ember lingering. Not a recruit was in sight and blood and abandoned weapons took their place.
I stepped closer to the destroyed rubble, sediment crunching under my feet. "Jason did this?" I breathed. No way he could've done this!
Novalee sadly nodded. "H-he didn't look himself. The Jason I knew, he wouldn't do..." She took in a deep breath. "Nothing would make him do this."
Ty shook his head. "Not nothing. That wasn't Jason, Novalee. It was something Sub created to distract us from saving Sky. And so that Herobrine could keep on with whatever it is he's planning."
Novalee picked up a piece of broken wall. "He attacked and... I didn't even stay to fight back. I ran off. Jason looked so scary..."
"Nova, you're getting emotional." Ty said. "We can talk about it later. Right now we need to figure out what we're going to do."
"Well what can we do?" She asked, chucking the piece back into the pile. "Jason is hell-knows-where and General Sky is gone."
"They aren't the only generals you know. Look, let's head over to Seto's place. A few other generals are there too." Ty said.
Novalee looked at the broken down base again sadly. This was her home. And now it's just gone with the wind. Memories were made here. And now they were burned by the one guy that took her in and gave her a home.
But that sob story is for another time. Novalee turned to Ty and nodded. "Then let's go." She said. Now is the time for action.
-------Jerome's POV
"You're not coming." Seto stated, crossing his arms. I looked at his direction to see him glaring down at Rookie. The girl crossed her arms back at him.
"You're not my mom, you can't tell me what to do." She stubbornly said. "I'm your general, I can tell you EXACTLY what to do." Seto bit back.
Téa and Brice stood back, watching the two argue. "Incase you haven't noticed, the base is completely destroyed and all the other recruits are missing or captured by Herobrine. I don't think the chain of command still works here." Rookie stated.
"Regardless of the condition of the base, I'm still the authority and I say no." Seto said. Finally, Téa stepped up. "Come on Rook, let's just go. They won't let us help." She insisted.
Rookie glared at the sorcerer one last time before turning her back to him. The two walked off, Rookie unusually silent.
"That kid just won't listen to me... Why can't she get we can't let her train due to being injured?" Seto grumbled. Brice stood next to him.
"When Ty gets back, we need to move out." He said. "We've waited long enough. Sky is still in trouble, after all." Seto nodded. "Reminds me, where is he?" He asked.
I turned to see Mitch walking up to me. "Hey dude, what's up with Rookie? She looked ticked." I shrugged. "Seto's trying to keep them from going. Anyways, be ready to leave. Once Ty gets back we're lighting the Nether Portal." I said.
Mitch gave a playful salute, heaving the sword to rest on his shoulder.
It was then that we heard the zoom of a jetpack. We all looked up at the sky to see Ty and a girl flying towards us. "Hey!" I shouted.
