Finally deciding to write in this some more ... really don't know what today is going to be about ... totally clueless ..
We pulled into Shane's driveway and I immediately got out of the car and ran into the house .
"Ok . Now . Tell me . What was all that about back at school .??" He asked curiously .
"You saw that guy standing by me right .??" He nodded . "Well . He started talking to me on the bus and ever sense he wouldn't leave me alone . He said my hair looked good this way . So . He wouldn't leave me alone unless I said I would be his friend . He left me alone until school ended . Then I told him my boyfriend, you, were coming to pick me up . He said he'd wait till you got there . He didn't believe I had a boyfriend so I had to prove him wrong ." I smiled at him ... and he started to laugh .
"What's so funny .??' I demanded .
"He likes you and you didn't even know ." He managed to choke out between gasps of laughter . There's no way .! He's all weird and jock-like . And I'm so ..... not . It's not possible is it .?? He likes you stupid .... God . I thought you were smarter then that . I guess my conscience knew it too . How could I not know ....
"..... I didn't know that ..." He was still laughing as I came to my senses . Uhmm ... I just won't talk to him tomorrow ... I'll ignore him ... And I'll sit somewhere else at lunch ... Yea ... That's what I'll do...
"Lynn ... .Lynn .??" Shane had stopped laughing and was standing directly infront of me... A look of concern on his face ... I hadn't noticed I had walked over to him and started playing with his hair .... Weeeiiirrddd .
"Huh ..? .. Oh ... Sorry about that ... I didn't know what I was doing ..... Sorry ." He started to smile and took the hand that was in his hair and held it by his side .
"*Laugh* That's ok ... So ... What do you want to do today .??" Hmm ... What did I want to do today ... I was in the mood for some ice-cream ..... Why ... I don't know ... Hmmm .... I looked at Shane ... His snakebites made him look cute .! .... OhMyGosh .! I want to get my lip pierced .!
"Is there anywhere where I can get my lip pierced at .??" Shane looked at me like I was a crazy person for a second there ...
"Uhm Yea . At the mall . That's where I got mine done ." He started messing around with his now .
"Where's your straightener .??" He pointed toward the bathroom . I ran in there and looked around .... I couldn't find it ]x . So I decided to look under the sink .. There it is .! I turned it on to let it heat up and ran out of the bathroom .
"I know you don't wear eyeliner much but do you by any chance have any .??" He nodded and said "In there ." He pointed to his room . I ran in there . Heh Heh . His room . x33 His bed wasn't made .. Clothes scattered everywhere . It was a mess . So . The first place I looked was the dresser with a mirror on it .... There was cologne and other "Items" . But no eyeliner .... Hmm ... I walked over to his closet and semi-checked in there ... Nothing ... I give up ]X I ran back outta his room .
"I can't find it ... Can you help me ... Please .??" I put on my best puppie dog face and he followed me into his room . He walked right over to his night stand and picked it up and showed it to me .
"Here ya go . Sorry it took me so long to find it ." He started laughing and sat down on his bed .
"Yea ... Thanks ... i'll just .. .be putting it on now ..." I slowly backed out of his room and headed to his bathroom . I put some on . Trying to get it a little bit better than this morning . After that I touched the straightener which was really hot now . Yay .! So . After about 45 mins of straightening and "attemting" to perfect my hair . Hmmm .... I don't think I'll tease it today ... Maye just a little .. [; Ok after that I looked down at my clothes to make sure I hadn't got anythinng on them yet ... With my severe clumsiness . I walked over to Shane's room and he was still sitting on his bed ...
"Do I look ok .?" He looked up at me and a few silent tears were streaming down his face . I ran over to him and sat down beside him .
"Heyy ... What's wrong .??" He gave me a hug . Ok .. This was unusual ... I awkwardly gave him a hug and patted him on the back .
"Uhmm .. It's ok .. " He pulled away and looked at me . He started smiling .
"Yea . You look perfect ." He had stopped crying ... I'll ask him about it later when he wasn't as fragile ... I made a mental note in my head to do that .
"Thanx . ... So ... Are you ready to go .??" He nodded and we both went out to the car . It was a really quiet drive to the mall ... An uncomfortable silence . We finally got out and he said .
"Are ya sure you wanna get this done .?? What about Claire .??" I was thinking about chickening out .. but we're already here and .. Claire would hate it . Right then I looked down at my tattoo and smiled .
"As ready as ever ." We walked into the mall and Shane headed straight for the place with the piercings . The guy in there had a LOT of piercings . Eyebrow . Nose . Lip . Ear ...
"Can I do anything for ya" He said .. A little to excited .
"Uhm, Yea . I want to get snake bites ."
"Which ones .?? *Gestured to big shelf with lip rings on it*" There were so many .! I looked over all of them and finally found two I liked .
"Uhm . That silver hoop with a ball on it . And the silver ball ." He picked them out . And gave me some mouth wash . I put it in my mouth and started swishing . Uhh ... It's nasty .!!
"Just keep doing that for a couple minutes then spit it out in that sink over there darlin' ." I finally went to spit it out . He told me to lean back in the chair then he leaned it til I was at a 180 degree angle . He sprayed something to disinfect the ring and grabbed my lip and asked me where I wanted them . After marking them he put something on my lip to numb it . Yay .! Now I won't feel it .! He grabbed my lip with these scissor thingies but they weren't sharp at the end . It was to line up the inside with the outside I think ... He took the needle and stuck it through ... I didn't feel anything .! Then he slipped my ring over the needle and pulled out the needle and the ring took it's place . After that he did the same with the other side and we were done .!
"Ok . Now . Unless you want the holes to close up I wouldn't take them out . And everyday for about a month you need to use mouth wash after you eat and before you go to sleep and when you wake up ." I nodded ...
"How much is it .??" I asked him ..
"31.00 dollars ." I handed him the money and we left .
"Do they look good .??" I asked Shane . He nodded . Why was he being so quiet .?!?!
"Uhmm ...... Could I ask you something .??" I looked over at Shane .
"Yea ... What .??"
"Uhmmmm .... Why were you upset earlier ..."
"Oh .... Uhh ... I was just thinking about stuff that happened a while ago ...." He looked nervous ...
"Ok then ... Well .. Today has been fun .... Hey ... Do you think we can get some ice-cream .??" I looked at him hopefully .
"Yea . We should do that ." We went to Sandy's and got some ice-cream and headed back to his place ...
"It's getting kinda late ..." I pulled out my phone and checked the time ... It was 7 a clock already already . Wow .. The day went by fast .
"Yea .. Alright I'll take ya' home ." We got to my house and he finally spoke up .
"We'll always be friends right .??" He looked sad again .
"Of course ... " He smiled a sad smile and I got out of the car . I waved bye and walked into the house . Hopefully Claire would be at work . I just want to go to sleep ... I walked into the living room ... No Claire . Yippee .! I ran up to my room .. Changed into some shorts and a tanktop and went to bed ...
