(CHAPTER NUMBER 100 OF THE ERICA BLACK SERIES!!! thank ya'll so much)
"Oh Lottie, why do you insist on being so disruptive? You've spent more time in detention than not." Sighed Willow Black to her sister as the two of them lazed in the library, deep in the castle of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry her twin giggled innocently,
"Don't worry Willa, I can handle myself just fine, you know that better than anyone. Why do YOU insist on being so overstrung? You've spent more time worrying about me than not." the younger twin spluttered, barely holding a straight face long enough to complete her mockery, once done, she collapsed into laughter and after a moment, her sister's disapproving expression dissolved, only to be replaced by her sister's contagious laughter."Have you almost finished your homework Lottie?" Willow asked with a sigh after a moment, Charlotte grins cheekily at her twin before replying,
"I don't know Wills, have I?" she smiles, leaning back in her chair to expose the blank piece of parchment on the table before her. The elder twin rolls her eyes at her sister's reckless behaviour and the pride she seems to take from it.
"Charlotte Neoma..." she sighs yet again, "I swear to Merlin, I could positively murder you sometimes..."
"You sound like mum" Lottie Black cackled, her head thrown back in laughter and despite her own best judgement, Willow relented and joined in the laughter only to blush a scarlet hue when the librarian shushed them furiously whilst her twin's laughter only increased.
"Lottie!" she hisses, elbowing her sister in her ribs sharply, "Shut-up..."
"Oh relax Willa, don't be so boring" the younger of the two stuck her tongue out teasingly.
"I am not boring, I am simply mindful Lottie. You know, it wouldn't kill you to consider other people or you surroundings every once in a while" She smiled knowingly.Madam Pince's sharp voice echoed throughout the library "Twenty minutes to Curfew, either check out the book you're reading or put it back. WHERE YOU FOUND IT." the severing glare the librarian sent her sister when she caught her rolling her eyes made Willow's eyes widen and caused her to shift uncomfortably in her seat.
"Come on Lotts, we'd best get going" she mumbled, almost begging, as she tugged lightly at sleeve of the other girl's school jumper.
"fine.." came the sighed response as she pulled her sleeve away from her sister's fingers "but get off my jumper Willa, seriously?" she huffed.
"Sorry..." the elder twin giggled as she gathered up her stuff and stood, waiting for her sister to do the same. Once they had both cleared their desks, they linked pinky fingers and walked side by side to their dorms."Have you finished packing, Lottie?" Willow Black grinned as she approached her sister at the Gryffindor table on the day that marked the beginning of the Easter holidays.
"Yes..." She smiled up at her sister as she bit into a piece of toast.
"Lottie.." the older girl warned, noticing the tone of dishonesty in her twin's voice.
"Fine!" the Younger relented, as she swallowed "I haven't started yet. But I will and it'll all be fine Wills, calm yourself" she huffed at her sister, taking another, more aggressive, bite of her breakfast.
"Well hurry Lotts, we've only got until Ten-"
"Wills..." Lottie sighed humorously
"-once the train leaves, that's it. -" she continues, clearly having not hear her sister's interjection.
"Willa?" the Gryffindor tried again to gain her sister's attention.
"-Then we'll have to wait until Summer to see Teddy and Victoire-"
"Willow!" the younger of the two interrupts again, growing increasingly more frustrated at her sister's deafness.
"and that would suck." finally pausing for a breathe which provided a much wanted opportunity for her twin to interrupt.
"Willow Elladora! Merlin's beard! It's 8AM and we have until 10AM that's two whole hours for me to throw some clothes and a toothbrush in a trunk, we'll be fine." Charlotte chuckled despite her vexed expression. She stuffed the remainder of her toast into her mouth pointedly and stood up, pausing only to pull a face at her sister as she hurried off to pack.
"Yes.." her twin muttered to herself as she watched her walk away, "I wouldn't be worried except you've had almost a month to pack and didn't..."
Shaking her head, she moved towards her own house's table and poured a bowl of cornflakes for herself."Uncle Teddy!" called Willow from across the platform, smiling brightly when the man looked up to meet her gaze as she hurtled towards him quickly followed by her sister.
"Willow! Charlotte!" he exclaimed warmly opening his arms to embrace his God-daughters.Looking around the spacious London flat the twins took in the brightly coloured furnishings and the light, neutral wallpapers, the family photos lining the windowsills and shelves... the whole home was the perfect collaboration of all it's residents.
The Weasley sisters, Victoire and Dominique, greeted them brightly into the home they shared with Teddy Lupin.
The flat was larger than the girls would've expected from the outside, it was bright and open, three bedrooms and a pullout sofa in the living room. The eldest daughter of Bill and Fleur Weasley guided the Black twins around the home, showing them the bathroom, kitchen, living room/dining room quickly before taking them to each bedroom one by one, starting with her own; muted blue floral wallpaper, minimalist art in white frames and a large mirror, a perfectly made bed, a wardrobe and a beautiful Shag rug on the floor. Every inch was spotless accept her desk which was piled high with neat stacks of paper, different pastel coloured sheets balanced haphazardly across the surface.
Then they moved onto Teddy's room; strips of LED lights lined the space where the walls meet the ceiling. Plain white walls and a lazily made bed, the covers decorated with constellations. A small bookshelf lined with classics and a dirty, streaked and dusty mirror on one wall, the wall behind his bed decorated with a collage of photographs, Teddy himself, Victoire, Dominique and Louis.Harry, Ginny. Albus, James and Lily. Molly and Arthur Weasley. Erica Black, Charlie Weasley, the girls even saw pictures of themselves, some as infants and some as recent as only a few years before.
Lastly, Dominique's bedroom, the youngest of the three, only 10 or so years older than the twins.
Her room was baby pink with white, wooden furniture and fairy lights. She had the same shag rug as her older sister accept, whilst Victoire's was an off grey, Dominique's was white. She had these three beautiful paintings of women in wooden white frames, the women were each wearing underwear and had different skin tones and body shapes, they were erotic in nature but far from sexual. They captured Willows attention in a way that brought a subtle smile to her face although she wasn't sure why.
