A sweet smell of fruit and syrup slowly filled the air of Tsukishima's bedroom. Tsukishima slowly woke up, and blocked his eyes from the sun since they were still adjusting to the light. He then grabbed his glasses and looked over at the boy in his bed, and a gentle smile appeared at the middle blockers face. Tsuki then got out of bed and got into his school uniform. "Oi, King, wake up or we're going to be late for school," he said. "Mmmh," Kageyama stretched his arms and sat up. Kags then slipped out of bed and grabbed his bag with his school uniform in it. He grabbed his school uniform as Tsukishima let for the bathroom, and changed. Kageyama tossed Tsukishima's clothes on his bed as he zipped up his bag, and slowly walked out of the bedroom still feeling a little tired.
"Good morning Kageyama," Ms./Mrs. Tsukishima said with a warm smile. "Good morning mom," Kageyama said with a yawn as he sat down at the dining table and laid his head down. "Did you sleep well?" she asked. "Yeah, I slept wonderfully," Kageyama replied with a small smile. "That's good, well eat up! I don't want you having an empty stomach while your in school," she said as she set a plate of pancakes and blueberries in front of him. "Thank you," he said. "No problem dear," she replied, "The boys already ate and are waiting in the living room." Kageyama nodded his head as a response as he took a bite of a pancake.
Meanwhile in the living room...
"Tsuki, you've been smiling this whole morning. What's on your mind?" Tadashi asked. "Nothing, nothing is on my mind." Tsukishima replied. "...Are you perhaps thinking about Kageyama?" Tsukishima kept silent, and looked out the window. Kageyama then came walking into the living room. "You ready to go Kageyama?" Yamaguchi asked as he turned his attention to him. Kageyama shook his head up and down. "Okay then! Let's head out," Yamaguchi said as him and Tsukishima stood up. The 3 of them headed to the door and slipped on their shoes then headed out of the door.
"So.. Kageyama, Yamaguchi and I enjoyed our time with you last night," Tsukishima said ," and we wer-" "Wait, you enjoyed hanging out with me? You? I thought you hated me," Kageyama said. Tsukishima huffed and continued what he was saying, "AND we were wondering if you wanted to hangout with us again after school." Kageyama turned his head towards Tsukishima and made eye contact with, it almost felt as if timed stopped with they looked at eachother. 'Tsukishima's flustered a bit, that's adorable...' Kageyama thought to himself as some blush appeared on his cheeks. "S-Sure," he said as he quickly turned his head away. "Cool," Tsukishima said as a small smile appeared on his face.
Once the boys made it to school they parted ways, and carried on with their days until practice...
During practice Kageyama kept on staring at Tsukishima, and a few times Tsukishima looked back at him and smiled. This time Hinata noticed that Kageyama was staring at him. "Kags, are you ever gonna stop staring at Tsukishima?" he asked. "Huh!? I'm not staring at him boke!" Kageyama yelled back. "Then what are you staring hm? HM?" Hinata asked. "I was staring at... the cart of volleyballs! Maybe you need to get your eyes checked because I was NOT staring at him," Kageyama said and his cheeks turned a light pink because of embarrassment. "Hah, yeah right! You were staring at Tsukishima weren't you? Do you like him? Do YOU like TSUKISHIMA?" he said quite loudly. Everyone in the gym turned their attention towards to Hinata and Kageyama. "B-BOKE HINATA BOKE, NO I DO NOT!" Kageyama yelled as he grabbed Hinata by the shirt. "You like Tsuki, You like Tsuki!" Hinata repeated over and over again. "SHUT UP!" Kageyama said. Tsukishima laughed as blush appeared on his face. Then Daichi walked over to the two yelling boys.
"What's going on over here?" he asked as Kageyama let go of Hinata. "Hinata-" Kageyama said as he got cut off by Shoyo. "Kags like Tsukishima!" Hinata said loudly. "NO I DON'T" Kageyama yelled. "YES YOU DO!!" Hinata yelled as Kageyama chased him around the gym. Daichi sighed as he shook his head and walked back over to the laughing sugawara. Tsukishima was also laughing, at their childish actions, but he was also blushing at the thought of Kageyama liking him. Hinata continued to tease Kageyama during practice, and Kageyama continued to yell at hinata. And soon Practice ended.
Kageyama and Tsukishima got out of their gym clothes and into their school uniforms, and waited for Yamaguchi at the gate. Tsukishima was listening to music while the two boys stood in awkward silence. "Hey, king, listen to this," Tsukishima said as he handed Kageyama a ear bud. Kageyama started bobbing his head a tiny bit to the music, "You have good music taste Tsukishima," he said with a smile. Tsukishima smiled back at Kageyama, "Thank you." Then Yamaguchi was walking out of the school with Hinata towards them, and the two males looked at Kageyama and Tsukishima smiling at each other standing close to each other with a bit of blush on their cheeks. "You do like him!" Hinata yelled as he ran towards the two and Yamaguchi followed.
