THE SELECTED ONE : Tale of Amaravati

THE QUESTIONS

She stood up gently, after the boy and saints gone replied him so gently,

"we don't do that here. He is someone who more and more special to Amaravati. We are just showing respect to him, not praising him. He isn't a God."

" Sorry for what I said.....!", said Andrews.

" Hey no need for a sorry. You said so, because you don't about the rules, rituals and people of Amaravati.", Manikarnika said it so gently.

His face became so cloudly with lots of doubts.

" Could you please tell me more about Amaravati....?"

" Ya...., but.......... there is one problem. I need to take permission from Maha Guru. Please wait till I get the word from him",

she replied to him and started running towards a huge wooden house..

Andrews looked up and started watching the cloudy sky. A little time later she came back with a smile.

" Positive.......?"

" Yes man, I got the permission. From now on I'm your guide. I'll clear all of your doubts. You can ask anything, except some secrets of Amaravati", she replied to him while taking breath.

" Okay, I want to know about the boy....!"

Manikarnika smiled at him and started talking,

" He is special. But he don't have any super powers like the other people."

" Then why you guys respect him this much....?"

Andrews interrupted her.

" Let me finish..., He is the SELECTED ONE among us. His soul is pure, and he is gonna lead our rituals on the coming full-moon day. You'll see it yourself if you stay here I think", she completed the words and sat near to him.

But that question was just a start to next thousand questions from Andrews.

" How you guys learned this foreign language....?

" I don't have a clear answer to that question. Only Maha Guru knows. This entie city was his father's plan. To cherish the youngsters with all kind of knowledge. They teaches here everything like Science, Astronomy, Rituals, Defence and Attack etc, to whome want to learn in the country. Once you enter Amaravati and learns everything, there is no going back. You've to obey the rules and should stay in the city",

she briefed the history of Amaravati.

" In the middle of a horrifying forest, surrounded by mountains on three side and other side is protected by the sea. This is interesting....., the constructor of this city is wisefull one. But I've another question why you guys fears night. I never saw any people, except the gate keepers at night time.....?"

Andrews fired the next question within no time.

Manikarnika cleared her throat, and started her duty,

" We don't fear darkness...., like all people we also trust that evil energy comes out at night time. So we all locks ourselves in home at night time."

" What kind of evil energy....? Don't lie to me..., I think you guys are feared of that creature outside..., but...... it also comes out at day time. For the last weeks, that I have here, you guys never came outside at night time. There must be something that all of you fear, that is capable of entering this city only at night time. I am also staying here, I want to know. may be I can also be helpful to Amaravati in that case",

Andrews insisted her to go more and more deeper.

" You are a man with lots of questions...... this question's answer is difficult one. Because there is a history behind it. The history witchcraftery.......!",

after saying that she exhaled deeply. Suddenly from the clouds a big lightning striked on a sculpture at city center.

" Let's get in. It's not safe to stay here",

along with the words Manikarnika helped Andrews to get up. They together started walking towards a wooden house. Andrews turned his head and looked back, along with the lightning a hurricane also started behind them. He wondered looking at that, because the hurricane have shape of a human with loose and old dress.

Suddenly Manikarnika forcefully turned her companion's head forward and said,

" Don't look back...... its her. THE WITCH........!"
