Dragon Chronicles: Thunderstrike

Since I'm taking so long to get the next chapter out, you get to read the old version of this story. It was written when I was in 6th grade, so it's really bad and trashy. The plot is really bad too. It's all over the place and makes absolutely no sense. Well, have fun reading this! -w-

"Thunderstrike, come over here!" Windstreak called to me.

"Coming," I called back, "'Windy!'"

"Thunder," Windstreak said, calmly, I could tell she was irritated though because her eye was twitching, "didn't I tell you to not call me 'Windy'?"

"No," I said to mess with her, "you did?"

"Well, I'm telling you now, aren't I?" Windstreak, "Anyways, come over here!"

"Okay," I responded as I flew over. When I got there, I saw a beautiful, sparkling, aqua green sea stone. "Well, that's very interesting," I murmured. "What is a sea stone doing so far inland?" I asked.

"I don't know, but I don't like it. It looks like a sea serpent's egg," Windstreak replied. FYI, sea stones are aquatic mythical creature's eggs.

"I think that we should just leave it alone, it could hatch at any minute!" I said frantically.

"Thunder, I know you have had a bad experience with sea serpents, but we can't just leave it here! It could die!" Windstreak yelled at me.

"So!? Sea serpents killed my sister!" I yelled back. I turned around and flew away quickly.

"THUNDERSTRIKE, COME BACK HERE RIGHT NOW!" Windstreak yelled at the top of her lungs.

"NO WAY!" I screamed back.

"WHAT IN THE 5 WORLDS IS GOING ON HERE!" my mother's voice thundered out of nowhere. I was so shocked that I fell out of the sky. Then, my mother saw the sea stone, which was probably a sea serpent egg, and gasped. "By the 7 skies," my mother cursed, "is that a sea serpent egg!?"

"I think it is..." Windstreak said quietly(you don't want my mother mad).

"Smash it!" Lightningflash, my mother, screamed, "Kill the monsters that killed my precious daughter, the heir of the Storm tribe!"

"No way! It never did anything to you!" Windstreak yelled back.

"You don't understand, sea serpent young are extremely dangerous! A newborn sea serpent killed Tornado!" my mother cried. Tornado was my sister's name.

"Well, that is still no reason to kill it!" Windstreak replied, " There are only 100 sea serpents left in the world!"

"Stop this, both of you!" I shouted, "Let's just leave it here, in the wild!" I took the egg from Windstreak and flew towards the nearest sea, the Red Sea. When I reached the sea, I set the egg in the water and watched it float away.

Later, I was talking to Sunbeam, a juvenile sun dragon, about the sea serpent egg. "And then I started flying away when my mom yelled so loudly that I fell out of the sky from shock!" I said as I died from laughter.

"Then what happened?!" Sunbeam asked, laughing.

"My mom saw the sea serpent egg and tried to smash it. She was probably reminded of the sea serpent that killed my sister, Tornado." I said sadly.

"Didn't your sister die from an abyssal bat attack?" Sunbeam asked, confused.

"That was just so the sea serpents wouldn't start a war with us," I replied as Sunbeam gasped.

Hissssssssssss. "Tornado, Thunderstrike! RUN!" Lightningflash yelled frantically, "There's a crazy juvenile sea serpent on the loose! Get out of here!"
