"I never knew you where such a plant person?" The soft feminine voice that's been ringing in my head since the first time I heard it, was finally talking to me.
"Oh yeah..." once around her my energetic aura became a soft one, one that no one expected.
The beautiful flow of her raven hair fell lightly on her shoulders as the hot wind stopped blowing.
Her eyes went from the plants to me, uncomfortably I adjusted my stance against the counter. "Do you like plants?" I said trying to get her to sing that simple song again.
"Oh- uh yeah I do I just don't know much about them" she said slightly looking down tucking some hair behind her ear. Remembering what she said, my face lit up.
"I can teach you! I mean only if you would want too..." I paused, a stupid question to ask was the only thing you where capable of doing.
"Yeah that would be great!" The ravenette exclaimed, her skin glistening as the sun peaked through the open window.
Star struck (like an idiot) I stood there not saying a word, 'she was actually talking to me and I was blowing my only shot!'
"Well I'm Kiyoko a third year here, and I'm gonna guess your y/n Asahi?" A finger was lightly pointed at me once she said my name, it was like music notes sung so delicately it could pierce your heart.
"Yup that's me!" I yelled a little too loud for my own liking, and simmered down a bit knowing that I probably am going to scare her off if I kept acting like this. Instead she laughed.
She laughed, the girl with the most beautiful grey eyes you could get lost in, the hair that smelled like vanilla and roses, the voice that absolutely captivated you and the look that makes you lead for more.
That was the first and last time I talked to her, the 3rd day of the school year. I'm a second year with a horrible attitude that needs to be fixed and an introverted-extrovert personality.
My family owns a flower shop, that has been passed down for 3 generations. My parents are well known around town, my brother is the famous ace of karasuno high and I'm just the outcast...
Yeah, not much too me. I have average looks, with average grades and an average life. My only friend being myself, since my best friend moved over the summer I've been lonely. So to pass time I've been taking up the family business, which has been pretty boring.
But since I got suspended for... 'reasons' I've been working here even more. It's mostly just me at the front with my parents delivering custom bouquets.
As I said my life is pretty boring, nothing fun ever happened, and when isn't he rare likelihood that it does it's always related to my brother. He's got every girl he's wanted, any wish he's ever had had come true and he's the 'star'. I'm just a simple adopted burnout who has no real family, but everyone is too scared come out to admit it.
Of course the Asahi's have always treated me as one of their own, but there is that once percent of me that just feels like the odd one out. Like I don't belong. This thought ran through my brain frequently, or I should say daily. I think it's just the fact that they didn't want me, and the Asahi's were forced to keep me.
The quiet chime of the door opening filled the tiny store, I got up from the floor and lifted my watering bucket welcoming the person into the store. The familiar voice reached back to me, the simple melody it played in my heart was back.
"Oh y/n!" She said walking up to me, being careful of all the plants surrounding the floor.
"I think I'll have to take you up on your offer!" The bucket fell from my hand and landed on the ground, spilling all over it. Covering her dress. I told you, whenever something good happens to me it's always ruined!
Hey cuties! I hope you enjoyed the first chapter! I really love this books so far but I don't wanna jinx it so...
Anyways love ya!
