Arrogance Meets Spoiled

Chapter 5

Thursday Before Spring Break

DELLA POV

Today I didn't have any classes so I decided to get London and Paris.  We went to the ice cream shop and I decided since today was nice that we could walk to the park that was down the street.  They ran off to the slides and things as I find a bench under a tree that I could sit at and watch them.  As I'm walking to the bench I see a woman sitting there about my age.

"Hey is it cool if I sit here?"  I ask her as I walk up to the bench.  She is gorgeous.  I wouldn't mind being her friend.

"Sure girl, you are beautiful by the way."  She compliments me as she slides over some making room for me.  "So which one is yours?"

I point over to London and Paris at the swings playing with a little boy with a puff ball at the back of his head.  He is a cutie and I bet money that Paris is telling London he is hers.  "The two little girls standing with the little boy."

    "Oh wow that's crazy the lil boy they playing with is my son.  Are they twins?"

    "Yeah they are," I look at them to see that Paris has somehow grabbed a hold of his hand and started dragging him over to the slides.  We just say the girls are twins cause it'll be too much to explain how they they aren't technically twins cause they didn't come from the same uterus but were born on the same day, plus it's not anybody's business.

    "I bet the lab-"

    "Oh no they aren't my kids, they're my nieces.  I don't know what I would do if I was a mother.  I honestly give it to y'all  I be ready to cry during my period cramps so I could only imagine labor pains."  I shake my head just imagining the amount of pain mothers go through during labor.  Of course I would love to have kids one day but for right now I am wayyy too young to be someone's mom.

    "Well, I can say that the pain is worth it.  My lil Savion is my world, I couldn't imagine life without him.  There was a time where I wasn't ready to be a mom and I basically abandoned him but I truly regret such a decision."

    "I know I may seem a little nosey asking this question but is his dad still in his life?  Obviously you don't have to answer if you don't want to.  That has always been a fear of mine as well."

    She shook her head a little, "no you're fine and I was told when I was pregnant with my son that his dad would leave me and this, that and the forth so I understand your reserve about the situation.  But his dad has been there for both me and him since the day I found out I was pregnant and even though his dad has always been this big time basketball player he hasn't once left my son's side which I can't say the same for myself."

    "Oh my gosh I'm asking all these personal questions and I ain't even introduce myself," I hit myself in the forehead at the realization.  "I'm Della and I currently attend Georgia State."

    Laughing a little at me, " I'm Sabrinna but you can call me Bri or Brinna and I'm starting cosmetology school soon."

    "Oh wow that's so cool but here let me get your number so we can hang out sometime.  I have to go but I'll definitely text you soon."

    After dropping the girls off at Vince's house I make my way to the campus library to meet up for this class project.  I like everybody in my group except for the Chris dude for the simple fact he was rude each time I saw him.

    Looking around the library I see everybody sitting at a table waiting.  "Hey guys sorry I'm late I was busy and lost track of time."  I apologize as I take a seat next to Vannah.

    "Just get your stuff out so we can at least get what we planned to get done today done so I can do what I need to do."  I didn't even acknowledge his response, I just rolled my eyes and pulled out all the supplies I needed.

    Once we did everything we planned on doing today we scheduled when we will meet up again.  After I was done packing my stuff I checked my phone to see if I had any messages.  Seeing I had a message from Bri asking if I wanted to go to the club later.  I tell her yes and turn to Vannah and Brian and ask if they wanna go as well.

    "You know I'm down," Vannah says with a quickness.  Brian turned his head and looked at her with a quickness.  "Um who said you could go to the club.  Aht aht not on my watch."  He shook his head just as quick as he turned his head.

"Boy I asked the both of y'all if y'all wanted to come plus I'm going to ask Nick if he wants to come along with Lance and Jalena."

Later That Night

Walking into the club with Nick and Brinna we find our way over towards the bar.  Looking around the club I see Lena, Vannah, and Brian; "ooh Bri let me introduce you to my best friends."

    We danced our way over to them.  Once we made it to them I took Lena drink and took a sip then passed it back to her.  I passed out hugs to them, "ok guys this my new friend Sabrinna I met her today at the park she has the cutest son.  Brinna this my bestest friend Jalena, this Vannah and Brian."

    Looking I noticed Lance wasn't here, "Lena where is my brother at?"

    "He decided he was gone stay in with his friend since he couldn't come out with us."  She rolled her eyes in response as I just gave her a look cause I don't think Mr.Rude Ass would come out with us even if he could.
