June remembered the first time he saw Dean, three months before. He wondered when he would see him again.

As was his habit, he joined the flower shop as soon as he finished school. He greeted his uncle and aunt and started his homework in the back-shop. All around him were a lot of flowers of all colors and of lovely perfumes. Instead of working he fell asleep.

Few minutes later a young man entered the shop. Because the uncle and aunt of June were taking delivery from some new flowers, there was no one in the shop apart from June and the customer. Looking for someone, the man entered the back-shop room where June was taking a nap. Seeing the young guy sleeping, he began to smile and June opened his eyes, surprised.

"Oh, Dean," said June, "what are you doing there ? It's been a while..."Yes I know. I escaped my boring parents this time. They wanted to take me to a piano concert. What a waste of time."
"Are you serious Dean," profoundly answered June.
"What do you mean ?"
"I mean Dean that it's not the first time you run away from them like this, they are certainly disappointed at the moment."
"Disappointed or not, I don't care. I came here for you, aren't you glad," Dean asked .
"Yes, but, in those circumstances... Anyway, what brings you here ?"

June seemed a bit annoyed by the behavior of Dean, who answered, "As I just said before, I came to see you and, yeah, I have to admit I came for another thing."

June was surprised and intrigued without any transition Dean asked, "Do you want to go out with me ?"
"Wait... What ?"
"Don't you understand June ? I'm asking you to be my boyfriend."

At these words June felt he was blushing. Dean continued, "I mean, I really appreciate you and, you know, I have already made my coming out to my parents. I want to introduce you to them. But I'm sure they will be disconcerted at first because you know, they are very busy, work hard and they wanted me to get a girlfriend from a good family, who would make a good wife and so on. And because you're a boy, and moreover your family has a flower shop, my parents may disagree with us at first so if we can hide this detail..."
"Do you mean my family's work is too awkward for you ?"
"What I say is, technically, you're not a good match for me."

"Do you really mean what you are saying Dean ?"

"I don't, but my parents do so-"

June cut him short, "Are my feelings a joke to you ? '' The young boy was outraged. "You dare come pretending to love me and still say such disgusting things. I will not go out with you ! "
"How..."
June kept going, "Listen to me very carefully Dean. I don't want to be your boyfriend. Now, leave this place please, I need to work so don't bother me anymore."

Dean didn't want to leave but the uncle and the aunt of June came back. Throwing a last glance at him, he left the flower shop, upset.
