Thinking they were cornered, they looked around. The girl who had noticed Dean walked in front of a guy, and after having stared at him, she lastly said, "Oh, I'm sorry, I knew Dean Jones was here and I mistook you for him."

"Oh, there is no problem..." laughed the guy embarrassed because everybody was watching.

Taking advantage of the situation, Dean and June made their way through the big amount of people.

After making a break to the public toilets, they continued walking a few meters. Dean asked, "Hadn't you told me about a motorbike ?"

"Yes why ?"

"Don't tell me you forgot our deal..." Dean said, slightly smiling.

"What the heck ?"

"I wanted you to bring me somewhere." Dean reminded him.

"Ahh... yes now you tell me... okay, and after we won't ever see each other again right?"

"Never ever. As I said on the roof, my word is my bond." Dean said solemnly.

"I see that you can be distinguished when you want it." June laughed.

"So, where is your motorbike ?" Dean insisted

"Wait a minute, we have to walk a little more"

Arrived at the shop where the motorbike was parked in front of, Dean laughed. "And that's what you call the motorbike !"

"Are you fucking serious, like... not everybody is as rich as you."

"Okay, don't be mad at me, it's just I expected something else..."

"If you really don't want to ride it, you can just call a taxi."

"Why call a taxi when I have a chauffeur to my disposition."

"So, tell me where you want me to drop you."

"Bondi Beach"

"No kidding ?" June exclaimed. Seeing the straight face of Dean as an answer, he continued, "The beach is not that close from here."

"Is that really a problem ? I mean, if your worry is gas, I can just pay for a gas station on the road."

"The main problem isn't always money. I'm sure you have full plans for this evening but I also have some with my family. I can't be late"

"If you ride fast, you won't be late."

"My aunt forbade me to ride fast. It was pretty hard for her to let me have such a vehicle and the only reason she allowed me to have one was to ride prudently."

"Oh really ?" Dean said, despising. "You're an asshole but you're a good nephew tho ? Don't say such bullshit."

"Since my parents are dead, she is my legal representative and I respect her too much to die in a road accident as my parents did."

"I'm...-"

"You're not forced to apologize." June said distantly. "Jump on before I'll let you go to the beach on foot."

"Who told you I would apologize..." Dean mumbled. June didn't understand his comment but yet seemed a bit annoyed. Now, he only wanted one thing : get rid of this guy he found uneducated and disrespectful.

Dean got on the motorcycle just after June. The red haired guy held a helmet out to the tanned ice-skater. The latter put it on his head but failed closing the clasp. Seeing him in difficulty, June turned back and said,

"Wait... that won't work like that." Seeing Dean persevering but still failing, he announced, "I'll help you."

He took the two parts of the clasp and closed it, letting a finger between the fastener and the neck of Dean. This way, he made sure the other boy won't get hurt by being pinched. Jones's son looked straight in his eyes with a surprised air. "See. It's better like that right ?" June said calmly, like he was teaching a kind of lesson to a child.

Dean didn't answer. It was the first time someone was talking to him in a manner he found so sweet. Of course, his mother used to call him with a lot of cute nicknames she was the only to like, but this time, it was different.
