Lucy;

13 years old...

I pull my hair back into a ponytail and sling my bag over my shoulder. "Time to go..." I whisper to myself.

I've been alone for the past few months. I've been living in the woods traveling around, a week ago I heard about a place called Fairy Tail. It's a wizards guild where wizards can live in peace. I don't know if its real or not but I'm going to find out.

My bare feet crunch on the grass as I walk through the forest. Everything out here is so quiet. I hear yelling and quickly hide behind a tree. The yelling continues but it doesn't sound like soldiers. After a few seconds I decide to investigate.

I tip toe over to where the noise is coming from and see two boys.

"Huh?"

"Flame freak!"

"Ice princess!"

"Pyro!"

"Stripper!"

"Huh?" My eyes widen and I turn towards the voice. It's a young girl, she has blonde hair in a ponytail and brown eyes. She had on a dirty shirt with ripped leggings. I jump into fighting position.

"Who're you?!"

Lucy;

I examine the two boys in front of me. One has pink hair with a white scarf and the other has raven hair and is shirtless. "Who're you?!"

They both stand in fighting position and I hold my hands up. "Are you guys wizards?" They both look at each other and then back towards me. "No." 

Crap.

I slowly back away, if they aren't wizards they might be bounty hunters. I break into a run and begin to sprint away. I pull myself up onto a tree branch and look beneath me.

Both boys are looking for me, great. The pink haired boy looks up at me and my branch begins to snap. I fall to the bottom of the tree and land my butt. "Oww..." When I look up both boys have me surrounded with nowhere to run.

"Why did you run?" I brush my bangs out of my face and look at the ground. "I'm...a wizard." They both drop their fighting stances. "Why didn't you just say so." I look up at them, "Um...because you said you weren't wizards."

They both laugh and my face flushes, jeez so they are wizards. "Why were you two fighting?" They both glare at each other then the raven haired one turns to me. "Because... I'm Gray and I use ice-make magic. That is Natsu he uses fire dragon slaying."

I nod, "I'm Lucy a celestial wizard." I stand from the ground and brush off my clothes. "Anyway I should be going." I begin to walk away and both boys follow me. "Why are you following me?" Natsu grins at me, "Your going to Fairy Tail right?"

I nod and Gray smiles, "So are we so we might as well go together." I fiddle with the strap of my backpack and hesitantly nod. "Okay."
