"You're so beautiful, my sunflower." He grabbed her chin gently, his fingertips pressing against her jaw and lower lip. She was beautiful, the most beautiful girl he'd ever seen. Her skin was so smooth, smooth, and pale brown. He couldn't get enough, soaking in the sight of her. Of her raven curls, that wrapped around his finger like two pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. Of the look in her eyes, like she could see a thousand suns when she looked at him.
It was so intimate, the way they sat near each other on the field. The way their hot breaths tangled together. The way the breeze crept upon them as she dragged the tip of her nails down his arm. The way he held her; like she was the moon and without her there would only be subtle darkness.
"Rhiannon rings like a bell through the night
And wouldn't you love to love her?
Takes to the sky like a bird in flight
And who will be her lover?" He sang softly, never taking his eyes off her. It was her favorite song and it described her perfectly.
She gazed at him in awe, as if seeing him for the first time. She always did that, looked at him like it was their first glance.
She was his as he was hers.
