Chapter 1: How It All Started

Jackson's POV

It was my first day at a new school. I was with my little brother David. We took one glance at the school and new we were gonna have a great school year.

The headmaster, Alaric Saltzman, came up to us and introduced himself and his daughters. The twins gave us a tour around the school. I could tell that Lizzie was into me. She was acting flirty the whole way through. They showed our rooms. I was in a room with someone named Jed. I was told that he was the alpha. My brother David was in a room with a boy named Pedro. Me and Jed used to get along good.

Today was my first day of school. I went to my first class of the day. While I was in class, a boy gave me a note saying that I would never fit in because I was a siphoner- wolf hybrid. "Cassa Tor." I levitated his books off his desk. As class kept going on, I couldn't keep my eyes off of a girl named Hope. I knew I couldn't be with her because I saw her with her boyfriend, Landon.

After class I went back to my room get my P.E. clothes. I down to the gym and started doing push-ups. I got a Invitation from Lizzie to go to the Grill with her friend MG and her sister Josie. I told her I would come because it was time for me to make new friends.

Later I got to my brothers room. "Hey David, you wanna hit up the grill with my friends." David replied with, No, I have to do my homework." I walked out of his room and headed for mine. I got in the shower and took a quick wash. I put on a good outfit and headed out the door.

Now I'm at the grill. The waiter come up and says," Hello can I take your orders?" "Yes," I say politely. "I would like a Vanilla Milkshake please," I said. Josie says, "I would like a Vanilla Milkshake too." "Same," Says Lizzie. Mg Says, "I would like a chocolate sundae please. Am I the only one who likes chocolate?" We all laugh. We hear a loud sound. It was a giant dragon. We run outside. I start siphoning from the magic stored in my necklace. "PHASMATOS INCENDIA!" A big fire grows. "DELFAN EOTEN COR!" I try to pull the dragon's heart out but I didn't have enough magic. I tell Josie and lizzie to hold my hands and say the spell with my. "DELFAN EOTEN COR, DELFAN EOTEN COR, DELFAN EOTEN COR, DELFAN EOTEN COR!" The heart of the dragons starts coming out of it's chest. Next thing I know is that I see a heart on the ground with a lot of blood.
