Chapter 2: Problems

Jackson's POV

Going back to the school, I find myself in the headmaster's office. "You used magic outside of the school, Jackson. People are going to see a huge dragon lying in the street," Dr. Saltzman says. "I know that, I handled that. Besides, how did you find out?"

"Social Media," he says showing me the computer that had a dragon showing. "Did you even look at the full video?" I play the video and move towards the end of the video where the dragon disappears. "See, I cast a cloaking spells as we killed the dragon. People will think that it's just a edited video."

"No one can make a video look that realistic." "You have no idea what people can do these days." I exit the room and head towards David's room. I walk in and see him reading or at least trying to read a grimoire. "Hey, reading a grimoire?"

"I cant figure out what the spell means, does, or even how to say it." I walk to the bed and take a look a the grimoire. "I have a book I used to use to find what certain magic symbol mean, maybe it'll help. Also, you gave you this grimoire?" 

"Mom did, she got you one too. Mine is a basic one, yours has more challenging spells," he says pointing to the other grimoire. "I'll be back with the book." I walk out of his room, into the hallway. On my way to my room I run into Josie. "Hi, Jo," I say stopping. "Hey, how's it going?" 

"Great, helping my brother learn to read grimoires. I about to give him a book contains symbols that will be in the grimoire." "Cool, I gotta see Lizzie, Twin duty," she says chuckling. "I'll see you later."

I walk into my room. "Hey Jed," I say as I enter. "H-hey," he says looking suspicious. "You ok, what's going on?"

"Nothing." I walk towards the closet and he blocks me. "Uhh, don't go in there," he says. "Jed step away from the closet doors."

"As your alpha, I command you to step away," he says. "Ictus," I say as he slowly moves away from the doors. I flick my hand and the doors fly open. There was girl without a shirt on and only a bra. 

"Oh oh oh," I say shielding my eyes. "Well that explains why you have no shirt on," I say turning around. "Jed." "Yeah." "Did you really have to do it in a room that you share?" "I'm just gonna slide out of room," the girl says. "I wanna you something, I told you to back away from the closet, As you alpha, you didn't do so, wanna tell me why."

"Jed, I never submitted to you or your pack, you're no alpha to me." I walk towards me. "Submit now then, just tell me out you triggered your curse," he said. "I'd rather not plus, I'm not just a wolf, I a witch a well and Im going to use that witch side as an excuse not to submit.

I walk into the bathroom and fix up my hair. "You coming to the game today," I ask him as I exit the bathroom. "Yea, the whole pack's going." I put on my school sweater and walk out. "Hey," I say to Mg. "Hey, on your way to the field?"

"Yea." 

"You should think about joining the team," he says. "I will."

"I walk towards the field and take a seat in the bleachers next to David and Pedro. "Hey guys," Josie says walking up with cotton candy. "I got some for all three of you." I pass 2 of the buckets down to Pedro and David. "None for you," I ask as she passes me the last bucket. "No, I play on the team."

I nod and she goes down to the field.

As always, the school loses another game. "Come on guys." Pedro and David get and me go down the steps and into the school. On our way inside we come across Rafael, another new student. "Hey Rafael, right?" He nods. "Im Jackson, I'm a were-witch, new as well, I didn't get to meet you," I say holding my hand out for him to shake. "Oh, yea, I was found by Dr. Stalztman and Hope Mikaelson with my brother Landon." "Hey, umm, Josie and I go to the grill to get milkshakes a lot, would you like to come sometime?"

"Sure"

I nod and walk away, taking Pedro and David to their room.

"Ok you guys have fun," I say closing the door. "Jackson." I hear some say. I see Hope running down the hallway. "Yea."

"You're like me, a were-witch, I trust with this problem," she says almost running out of breath. 

She grabs my wrist and pulls me through the halls. As we exit the school, I see about 20 people outside. All at once, their eyes turn red with veins appearing. I look at the shirts they were wearing.

"Triad?"
