Spy school into the dark

I stood up groggy after the blast and looked around.

The entire mess was completely in shambles, the walls were collapsed, the table Erica usually sits at designated and a huge crater in its place.

And I was a good three tables away from ours.

I looked over and saw Zoe slowly standing up, Mike helping her as we al stared in shock.

"That wasn't the only explosive in the cafeteria," Jaw shouted while helping up a first year.

"Your right, if it was the walls would still be intact to some extent," Erica said from behind me.

I quickly jumped in fright and turned around, "was anyone hurt?" I shouted.

Luckily because everyone avoids Ericas table no one was sitting anywhere near it so everyone was ok.

"CHIP!" I herd Jaw shout, as he started to run over to the last place he saw are friend.

"I'm fine, i'm fine, just get this rubble of of me!" Chip shouted back from under a mound of tables

We all ran over, relieved that he was ok and helped him out.

"The way the bombs were placed are very deliberate, they only blew up the walls and my table, Ben, I think this is a warning." Erica looked over at me, and then the peaces clicked

"They made it look like your table was booby traped so you wouldn't sit there, and they blew the walls so they didn't hurt anyone, I think your right." I looked around at my friends and asked,"who would do this though? It is very odd."

Erica  Sighed in annoyance, and said," isn't it obvious? Someone is threatening us." 

And then she turned around and headed for the cafeteria door, but then decided to just walk through a gapping hole in the wall,

"I'll see you guys tomorrow." 

"Come on!" Mike shouted after her, "if someone is threatening us, then why are you just going back to your dorm?"

She turned around mid stride and calmly said,

"I am not."
