"I swear you guys, one of my shoulders is smaller than the other!"
"This isn't a thing, Jimin. Hyung, tell him it's not a thing."
"Jimin, if you're gonna let your jacket fall off everytime, you can go without it already."
The members' loud voices muffled by the food stuffed in their mouths while they argue announces an usual lunch time in the company's cafeteria. The only thing that reminds me something's different are the men's hungry stares towards our table. Of course, she is here.
It's Friday, last day of Rose and Eric's first week as our personal doctors. Since it's only the first week, they've been mostly just watching us, learning our schedules and work dynamics. Except from the dance practices we had in the past few days, I barely saw them around.
Eric isn't my doctor, so I didn't expect to see him much anyway. Rose is the problem. She has lunch with us everyday, but her attention gets divided among the seven of us and we barely exchange two words. Eric usually does all the talking at dance practices while she only watches and takes notes from a corner. In rare moments, her eyes lock with mine while I dance, making me aware that she's watching, but I can't really figure what's on her mind and, before I can realize it, the moment ends, and her attention's already somewhere else.
She's got quite closer to Namjoon and Jimin these past days, they're the ones she talks to the most. Anyway, most of the time, you'll probably find her on a staring competition with her beloved tumor scans at her office's desk. I'm the only one under her watch that hasn't had any attention yet and it frustrates me more than I'd like to admit. Rose triggered something in me that day at the hospital, and the fact that we haven't been alone again since that day makes my impatience and nervousness over this situation grow bigger and bigger.
"I'm telling you I have physical problem!" Jimin whines, dragging me out of my wondering and making me aware that the boys' discussion is still going.
"Physical problem is what our fans get when you pull out your filthy stunts." Yoongi jokes.
"Rose is the doctor here, she should know better." Hoseok points out, making my attention divert to her by the end of the table. She doesn't bother the mention of her name, cutting out a piece of meat and discreetly putting it on Jimin's plate. I'm often catching her giving him food, but she doesn't really acknowledges it.
"Fair enough." Taehyung states in conclusion. "Rose, tell Jimin that the only problem with him is shamelessness."
All eyes shift to the doctor, that's now finishing her meal. Her eyes are distant while she plays with her chopsticks, apparently not listening to a word of the conversation. Something seems off today. She's usually smiley and playful, but now I can see worry hidden in her eyes. But she tries to hide it. Once she notices the seven expecting gazes at her direction, a smile forces its way on her lips.
