Louis

It’s been a year. A year since Harry and I came out to the public, a year since we started dating again, a year since I got my Hazza back, and it’s been amazing. Better than I could have ever imagined.

Harry just finished touring for Fine Line, the album was more popular than he could have ever imagined. It topped the chart for several weeks, I couldn’t be more proud of him.

As much as I know he missed touring, I’m glad he’s back home. The house was so empty without him here. Of course, I joined him for some of the tour, but I had work to do too so it was difficult.

He moved into my house about a month after we officially started dating again. It might have seemed fast but, we basically already lived together. Just switched from his house to mine every few days.

“What do you want for dinner?” his deep voice snapped me out of my trance.

“Hmm?”

“I said what do you want for dinner?”

“Oh sorry, babe.” I kissed his forehead, “Pizza?”

“Sounds good.”

“I’m just gonna go to the loo real quick,” I moved him off from where he was laying on top of me. He huffed at the change of position but went right back to ordering pizza.

Instead of going to the bathroom like I said I was, I made a detour to our bedroom. Heading straight to the back corner of the room, where I knew Harry would never go, and grabbed the box that was hidden behind a fake plant.

I bought the ring just 3 months after we started dating. I’ve always known he was the one for me. He was it for me the moment I met him.

“Babe the pizzas gonna be here soon,” I whipped around and hid the box behind my back. He raised his eyebrow but didn’t say anything.

“Ok yeah, I’ll be down in a second. Do you wanna eat it in the backyard? It’s really nice out tonight.”

“Uh, yeah that sounds good. I’ll go set up a blanket on the grass.”

“Sounds great babe,” I gave him a smile, which he returned before exiting the room and going back downstairs. I let out a breath I didn’t know I was holding and pulled the ring box out from behind my back.

I was gonna do it tonight. I had to do it tonight I couldn’t wait anymore. Letting out a shaky breath, I took the ring out of the box and slid it into my front pocket to be more discreet.

Hyping myself up slightly, I walked back downstairs. Harry wasn’t in the living room so I walked towards the backdoor.

“Oh hey lou,” he said turning around at the sound of the door being opened, “I was just about to come get you. Pizzas here.”

I walked up to him and wrapped my arms around his waist, his going around my neck on instinct. I leaned forward, pecking his lips before letting go and sitting down on the blanket he set up.

“This looks amazing Haz.” He smiled in content and plopped down next to me.

Reaching for a slice of pizza he asked, “So what were you doing in the bedroom? I thought you said you were going to the bathroom?”

I froze as he looked back, “Oh nothing, I just kinda got sidetracked.” I could tell by the look on his face that he didn’t believe it for one second. But he dropped the topic none-the-less.

He started telling me random stories of some funny fan encounters he had on tour while I wasn’t there. “This one girl, Evelyn, I’ll never forget her face,” he said between laughs, “she flat out came up to me and asked, ‘Who tops?’” We broke out into laughter, “She didn’t ask for a picture or anything either. Just came up and said that” He tried controlling his laughter before continuing the story, “I was so flustered I couldn’t even get a word out before security was pushing me away.”

We laughed for a solid 5 minutes before we calmed down. He put his head on my shoulder as we looked at the view from the top of the backyard.

“I missed this,” He whispered.

“Me too babe,” I turned my head to kiss the top of his.

This is it, I thought, It’s now or never.

I took a deep breath before moving his head off of my shoulder. He looked at me confused before I grabbed the ring out of my pocket. I heard him let out a gasp and looked up to see him with his hand over his mouth and tears in his eyes.

I let out a small laugh, “Harry Styles, you were it for me the day I met you. You ruined everyone else for me. You and your perfect little ways. The way you have a set routine for everything, the way you can’t sleep until you’ve read a least a page of a book, the way you scrunch your nose when I tease you, the way you call me every day we’re apart, even if you only have time to say hi, the way you insist on making me tea every day, even if I don’t drink it. You’re my soulmate, my best friend, my love, my life. You, Harry Edward Styles, are my everything. So, will you marry me?”

He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me in tight. I wrapped mine around his neck, to keep us upright.

“Yes! A million times yes!” He pulled back and cupped my face in his hands, giving me a forceful kiss. To which I returned.

He pulled away and said, “Took you forever, arsehole.”

Kinda short epilogue, but I really wanted a good solid ending to the story.

Thank you all so much for reading and all the support you’ve given me!

I’ve got more stories coming up so keep a lookout for that.

As always, stay safe, wear a mask.

All the love, Emma.
