Modern day
Even with all the jokes deku fears what havoc will do if he took over his body and thankfully deku had enough will power to suppress havoc

Deku now had long white hair tied into a ponytail,red sclera,dead blue irises,he had grown to be 6'1,a large beard and finally his muscular build was pure insanity being so strong he could pick up a 20,000 ton train while not even sweating or showing struggle
This is thanks to havoc but to deku is feels like he is going to lose himself every day but the thought of keeping his mother safe is enough to keep his will power high enough to make havoc's influence dwindle into practically nothing
Practically
When he became strong enough he returned to civilization and he decides to get a job and get a temporary home
He managed to get a room in a hotel which was better then sleeping in the cold ground of a cave or dirt
Deku later learns of the U.A entrance exam that is 10 months away and actually just down the street
U.A is in a very large city and is in the center of the city
