Glow For It!

Chapter 1

Panchito was so excited.

He had just got new drumsticks. 

He went into his hotel room, closed the blinds and turned off the lights. 

Then he started playing drums.

Sam heard the beat.

"Hey, Panchito's playing drums. Let's check it out" she said to herself.

Jose and Donald were playing checkers. 

"Hey. That's a cool drum beat." said Jose.

"Yeah. Let's go see what's up" said Donald.

The other three Caballeros went to Panchito's room and saw that the lights were all off.

Panchito hid his drumsticks behind his back as Donald turned on the light.

"Hola, Jose. Hola, Donald. Hola, Sam" said Panchito.

"Hola, Panchito" the other three said in unison.

"Why are you playing your drums in the dark?" said Donald.

"Hmm. Turn off the lights and I'll show you" said Panchito.

Donald turned the light off and Panchito played more.

And as he played, his drumsticks glowed red.

"Panchito, your drumsticks!" Sam said.

"They glow in the dark!" Donald and Jose said in unison.

When Panchito finished, Donald turned the light on again.

"Seriously fantastico drumsticks, Panchito" said Jose.

"Are they not cool?" said Panchito.

"Si. Play some more" Sam said.

"You want an encore?" said Panchito.

"Encore!" the other three said applauding.

"Muy bien! You got it. I will play some more. Donald! Luz por favor. Lights please" said Panchito.

Donald turned the lights off and Panchito played another beat.

"Ah-ha!" Panchito shouted at the end.
