Forever

Sara: Here, before we continue, let me start from the very beginning...

Sara: Me and my best friend, Margaret, do EVERYTHING together, I mean one year for Halloween, we dressed as bacon and eggs. Our friendship started in kindergarten.

(The scene starts at Sara and Margaret sitting on the rug right next to each other)

Sara: Hey....I like your pink sparkle shoes... they look really clean! Did you just get them?

(I said looking at Margaret's shoes)

Margaret: Ya! My dad's girlfriend got them for me! Do you like them? My brothers laugh at me for wearing them! I am Margaret, by the way!

Sara: Cool! I am Sara! Want to be friends?

Margaret: OK!

Sara: From there on.... We were inseparable! We always had so much fun together! We never fought, except when my mom died. She got sick and died when I was in 6th grade. I moved in with my aunt Sally, my dad is out of the picture. Margaret thought her parents getting divorced was the same thing, it wasn't. She insisted it was and that I was exaggerating. We didn't talk for a while. Eventually, we made up, I really needed a good friend.

So now let's jump back ahead about a week before. Margaret and I are both in 11th grade, we both have the same classes, and lockers right next to each other.

ONE WEEK EARLIER

Margaret: So... what are you doing this weekend? I was wondering if you and Brian want to hang out with me and TonTon?

(TonTon is Margaret's nickname for her boyfriend, and Brian is my boyfriend, he is super sweet!)

Sara: Ya... I am free, I don't know about Bri though. I will ask. If so, what do you want to do?

Margaret: I don't know, maybe we could go to the mall or something!

Sara: Ya sure, I will call Bri right now. I will see you this weekend whether he comes or not.

(I closed my locker and winked at Margaret, she winked back. We both walked in different directions going home. I started dialing Brian's number.)

Sara: Please pick up!

Operator: At this time, please leave a message after the beep... BEEP.

Sara: He hon, what you up to this weekend, want to hang! Call me ba...

(I walked by the closet and saw two people kissing...they looked familiar...I hung up the phone. I walked closer to the closet when I saw TonTon...kissing Shelly Parks! The most popular girl in school!)

Sara: (I turned around and ran home yelling) OMG! NO!!!! Margaret! How could he do this to her?! Shelly Parks? She isn't even prettier than Margaret!

( I opened the house door and went straight to my room)

Sally: Sweetie, are you home?
