Birthday Trip to Disney World

(October 9, 2020)

It was finally that day: his 28th birthday. Xander got up from bed early in the morning, when the sun wasn't even up yet, to make breakfast, only to see Steffanie get up from the bed at the same time as him.

"Seriously, Steff?" He asked.

"I should ask you that, Xander." She replied. "It's your birthday, relax and let me make something for you."

"True, but I still don't mind making my own food on my own birthday. You know, tough past life and all." Xander pointed out.

"Alright, alright, let's both cook." She sighed.

"Okay. Since we're pretty much going on a food and rides trip, let's just cook something light."

Nodding with a sly smile, Steffanie pecked his lips as they walked out the bedroom together.

After some time, the two finally finished making breakfast, which consisted of French toast lathered in honey, orange juice, and a couple of breakfast burritos. They sat and ate together as Blue and Marvel ate their food as well.

"We are up very early." Steffanie noted as she held up a glass of orange juice. "How many birthday wishes have you gotten so far?"

"So far, just Austin and Britt. Guess everyone else is asleep right now." Xander shrugged as he took a big bite of his breakfast burrito.

"Well, Happy Birthday to you then!" She grinned after gulping down some juice. That earned her a laugh from Xander.

"Thanks, Steff."

The two entered Disney World, Magic Kingdom to be specific, as the first crowds of visitors started pouring in, with Xander and Steffanie blending in well with them.

"Oh boy. This is going to be quite a long day." Xander muttered to himself. He was wearing a Batman-style jacket with the logo in red, a Death Star shirt underneath, gray track pants, and black sneakers.

"Well, you suggested Disney World, birthday boy. I'm just rolling with it." Steffanie giggled. She had her glasses on along with an oversized "Thrasher" hoodie with an Iron Man Arc Reactor shirt underneath, black track pants, and silver sneakers.

Sighing at the truth behind why they were there in the first place, Xander stretched his arms upwards as a quick warm up.

"Alright, time to eat, drink, ride, do whatever."

While going around the park, looking for food, the two would pull out their phones every now and then to record and/or take a picture of something for social media purposes. Their first stop was the nearby souvenir shop, where Xander took a look at all the merchandise and was overwhelmed.

"So many to choose from..." He said to himself.

"Choose wisely." Steffanie told him.

"Not helping, Steff."

They began walking around, looking at clothes, pins, bags, accessories, and the like. Seeing the Filipino completely stressed out over what to pick, Steffanie proceeded to gently drag him out of the shop before his mind exploded.

"You know what, Xander, let's just find dessert or something." She suggested.

"Heh, I could go for a pastry or two right now." He admitted as they made their way to the Main Street Bakery. Right out the gate, he opted for the cinnamon roll, buying two for them both as they ate up, the taste of the pastries creating a satisfied expression on their faces.
