------------

You seemed like the most normal girl in the world. A little above average when it came to intelligence, but that was never a problem.

You lived in a decently sized house with your mother named Kiaria, younger sister named Akira, and your dog, Kito.

Although you did have a lot of hardships in your life, they happened when you were much, much, younger.

This made it a bit easier to 'forget'.

Your father had left you guys a while ago. Back when you were at the young age of four. This was right after Akira had been born.

Though that may seem like a tragic loss to most, you couldn't bring yourself to care, for he had hurt your mother in several different ways.

During this time of sadness for you and your family, you endured some other tragic losses, all near the same time.

And while your world crumbled before you, there were two people that you could always trust.

Kenma Kozume and Tetsurou Kuroo, your lifelong friends.

Kenma was more like you, although you weren't as quiet as him.

You didn't plan things the way he did, nor did you ever need to. Why would you?

Kuroo was by far the most outgoing in the trio, almost taking a sort of 'Parental' role.

Over time you had grown out of the pain, (for the most part.)

And you're currently at the age of sixteen, now being in your second year at Nekoma high school in Tokyo, Japan.

You still lived with your mother, sister, and dog, but that wasn't something you disliked.

Although your mother was a little on the anxious side, she still kept everything together.

And your sister-- Well, she was just like any other twelve year old girl.

You were by far the closest to Kenma, although you still loved having Kuroo around.

That was, until you began to notice strange happenings.

Kenma wasn't acting that different, maybe a bit quieter, and Kuroo was just more worried for you than ever.

Your mother, being the naive person she is, told you to brush it all off.

Your sister didn't necessarily care, telling you time and again to stop pulling pranks.

But this wasn't a prank.

There was a big problem, but you couldn't figure out what-- or who was causing it.
