two little girls giggles filled the house as stefan salvatore chased them around the living room of the salvatore boarding house. caroline salvatore walked in with a smile on her face watching her three favourite people in the world so happy together. she said although it killed her to ruin all the fun they was having "bedtime girls" they looked up at her and both said in unison "nooooooo" stefan laughed and said "no girls you mums right and if you get ready really fast i'll tuck you in and tell you a bedtime story" they smiled and raced up the stairs. caroline looked at stefan and smiled she said "your so good with them, i love you" he said "thank you and i hope you love me or i dont think you would of married me" she laughed

the girls had got changed and brushed their teeth and were now back in their bedroom they shouted down the stairs for stefan and caroline. they up in the room in seconds. stefan said "i guess you are wanting a bedtime story now arent you" they nodded in agreement so he said get into bed then and i will tell you one of my favorites" they climbed into bed and stefan pulled over the chair in their room he put it in between their beds and started the story. "once upon a time their was a fair maiden who was the most beautiful women in the village and some would even say the world. one of these people was a farm boy he had met the fair maiden through a mutual friend and it took some time but he fell in love. when the farm boy realised his love though something terrible happened. the fair maiden lost an important part of their life and was greif stricken. the farm boy went to meet the fair maiden but knew that she would not be able to be his for some time so he said that he would wait for her to be ready for him because he loved her so much that he would wait for a century just to be with her. the farm boy waited for the fair maien for not that long but it felt like an eternity and when the fair maiden finally said that she was ready for him he felt like he was floating." josie asked " did the fair maiden love the farm boy as much as he loved her" stefan looked at caroline and said "i think she did" caroline nodded.

lizzie said "another one another one" stefan smiled and said "fine one more and then bedtime" they said "yayyy" stefan said "once upon a time a beautiful princess was in love with a prince but the prince was always haunted by his demons and he had to leave the love of his life to go and make sure that she was safe away from the evil that followed him. he was heart broken to have to leave her but at the time he thought it would be better to fight his battles alone other than fight them together now the prince knows that he shouldnt of made that decision without her but back then he was being stupid. he left the love of his life to go and keep the evil away from her. he was away for years but then the evil that he was trying so hard to keep away from the princess found her and took her the prince and his brother and his enemy worked together to free the princess and slay the evil. now that the evil was slayed the prince thought that he could get back with his princess like it was before but he was being ignorant for when he found the princess again she had two little maidens that she was looking after and she was betrothed to another man. but the prince never gave up he worked with his princess to save her best friend but along the way he did some stupid things but despite all of that the princess walls broke down slightly. and then the princess thought the prince almost died saving her bestfriend so when she knew that th eprince was alive she couldnt think about living without him so they got back together and got married and looked after her two little maidens together and lived happily ever after. stefan kissed the girls on the forehead and stood in the doorway waiting for caroline to say goodnight. when they were out of the room and the door was closed caroline said "the stories were great were did you get the inspiration" stefan smiled and said they were our stories" then he kissed caroline and everything seemed right in the world.
