Calypso POV (bet you didn't see that one coming)
This is NOT happening! I can't see any of them again! What if they take us back to camp? What if I have to see Leo again? I don't think I can handle that...
"Caly come on we have sound check." Thalia tells me with a shaky breathe. I just nod not able to make out words. I climb out of the limo and start walking with the rest of the girls. I can hear Piper muttering curses at her mother.
"Hey," I bump her with my shoulder, she looks up in return, "You okay? Does your mom have anything to do with this?" She scowls in response, i took it as a yes.
We walked into the arena and quickly went to hair and makeup. For a sound check we typically don't need it done but we need to get into our alternate identities because our guest winners will be watching the sound check and the concert tonight. were sooo doomed!
Rushing around in the small room I put on blue contacts and light makeup. Piper puts in brown contacts, light makeup (we force her) and electric blue highlights in her hair. Annabeth has light blue contacts (now she looks completely California) she straightens her hair into waves instead of curls. Thalia takes out her highlights and has hazel contact instead. Hazel straightens her cinnamon colored hair and puts in dark brown contacts. Reyna puts in purple highlights and some light makeup. We were as ready as well ever be.
We head out to the arena. Stepping onto the stage we grab our equipment. Piper and I warm up our voices and check our microphones. We started singing one of our duets when they walked in. Everything and everybody stopped and froze.
"Um hi we um we won your contest Im Katie."
"Oh come on Katie no reason to be nervous they're just people. I'm Sadie!"
"And now you've scared them. Good job Sadie."
"Oh whatever brother dear. Stop being such a push over Carter."
