"Happy birthday princess."
I smiled up at my dad as he walked into my room holding a tray with my breakfast on it. This is how every morning on my birthday started.
Dads smile was was something the pack members rarely saw, but I was used to it. It was a beautiful sight.
"Thanks dad! You know you didn't have to do this."
"I know princess. Now come on and eat so you can get ready I have something planned for you!"
Knowing that what he had planned was me getting ready for my 'surprise party' I nodded trying not to show him how much I hated the idea because I know how much time he put in to it.

After finishing breakfast Stephanie, my friend and also the betas daughter came over. We went over to a close salon and got our hair and nails done.
Steph told me that my dad had her purchase a dress and matching heels for me a while ago so shopping was not included in our morning.
The dress Steph picked out was just to my liking! It was simple and my favorite color, green.
Keeping my make up simple I slipped the dress on and stepped into my heels.
Walking towards my bedroom door I could hear hushed voices coming from the backyard.
I knew dad was inviting a lot of people, but imagine my surprise when I stepped outside only to see the entire pack standing there with smiles covering their faces.
My shocked expression was obvious. I saw dad standing towards the front and rushed into his arms.
"Daddy you didn't have to organize all this!"
I felt tears well up in my eyes and I could see dad was trying to blink his tears away.

I mingled around thanking everyone for coming, some of them were enjoying themselves while others were just here because my dad, their alpha was the one who requested they came.
Regardless I was enjoying this party, and tonight I would celebrate like never before.
