Chapter Eleven - New Recruits

Everyone turned towards Techno.

"I'm Technoblade. I was Niki's first customer when the inn opened and I've continued to live here," He introduced himself.
"Well, I'm Tubbo!" Tubbo pointed at everyone, "That's Wilbur, Dream, Tommy, Ranboo, George, Karl and Sapnap."

Techno nodded. His gaze went from the group to Niki, then to Sapnap specifically.

"Are you the head guard?" Techno asked.
"Uh- me..?" Sapnap pointed at himself unsure.
Techno nodded
"Uh- y-yeah, yeah I am."
"Can I join the royal guard?"

There was silence, then Sapnap cleared his throat and went over to Techno.

"I don't just recruit anyone. You need to prove to me that your worthy of being a guard," Sapnap said.
"Bruhhhh..."

"Hey, what if Niki, Minx and Techno join our little group?" Tubbo asked looking at the others.

Techno shrugged, it would probably be funner than sitting in the inn bored all day.

"No, you guys are obviously trouble. You set a room on fire! Niki is staying, and so am I," Minx put an arm around Niki.
"Please excuse Minx, I'd love to join you guys! I never even knew there were more magical people besides Minx and I," Niki smiled.

Tubbo grinned widely, then created a grey rose for Techno, handed it to him and Techno removed a jewel from his crown and replaced it with the rose. Then, Tubbo made a rose for Niki. He stepped forwards with it, but Minx knocked it out of his hand.

"Minx!" Niki yelled, moving Minx's arm from around her and picking up Tubbo's rose.
"It's not safe with them! I mean, look! That one person who had commited at least twenty crimes is there!" Minx gestered towards George.
"Hey! At least seventeen of those crimes were never commited by me!" George yelled at her.
"Minx, stop being like this! If I want to go somewhere other than the inn, let me!" Niki's voice was laced with anger.

There was silence. Minx knew first hand how bad things could get when Niki got mad. Niki wouldn't stop being mad at her for nearly a month at the very least, and Minx's anger issues would only worsen the situation. The demon sighed and stepped away from the group. Niki stood up straighter, surprised at her friend's actions.

"Fine. But, if you come back with even a bruise, I'm killing everyone in this room but you and I," Minx said.

Niki nodded, then turned towards the others. She placed the rose in her bangs.

"Now, if Niki's in trouble our roses should glow pink, and they should glow a blood red for Techno. Oh, and, Niki, Techno, the roses will glow a specific color if anyone is in trouble and they will wilt if someone dies," Tubbo explained, "Yellow is for Wilbur, green for Dream, purple for Karl, blue for George, black for Sapnap, red for Tommy, a dark green for me and white for Ranboo."
"Got it," Niki and Techno said in unison.

"Now, how about we go on an adventure? We have enough people to probably do it!" Dream asked.

This time, everyone nodded.
