It's a Date!

I sit down next to Bree and Addison on the bus and for some reason I think of what happened yesterday.

At the end of school I find a note in my locker that says:

'meet me at the gate to zombie town -Wyatt'

I walk towards the gate and see him leaning against an old wall staring at me, "Hey Wyatt, what's up?" "Oh I just wanted to ask if you wanna, get fro-yo with me some time?" He asks, slightly blushing. "Sure! It's a date!" I say excitedly then I realize what I just said and I feel my face heat up, flustered, "I didn't- I'm sorry- I'm a idiot- It's not a date... unless you want it to be?" I look slyly at Wyatt and then back at my feet. He puts his hand on the side of my face and make me look at him. "It's a date." He says smiling at me, When he smiles I melt for some reason, I stare at him studying his face, from the golden flecks in his eyes, to his perfect smile. Then I notice that we're extremely close, and I feel like millions of little butterflies are taking flight. "I-I got to go, we can get some fro-yo tomorrow." I start walking away, and when I turn around he is gone.

"Eliza! Earth to Eliza!" I snap out of my thoughts, "hm, what?" "Were you listening? We were talking about how Wyatt apparently kissed a zombie girl yesterday, well so says Willa." Addi says and I feel my face heat up, and I say "we did not kiss! Well we almost.... He just asked me on a date!" I say and they look at me, then addi holds out a hand and Bree puts ten bucks in it. "I told you Bree! I told you that she was with Wyatt!" They literally betted on me, "Hold up were not dating! And how did you know?" I ask "Willa said Wyatt asked a zombie girl on a date and she said yes, and you have a major crush on Wolf boy!" I blush, "Fine! You caught me but no words to the boys... they will hate his guts" "fine but we help you get ready!" They when they get to my stop they jump off with me, to torture me for another hour.
