She just stood there as I kissed her. I haven't even known her for more than a few hours, but something about it felt so right in the moment that pushed me, like I had to. Alyssa. Something about her.

"What was that for?" she stammered.

It was cute. The way her cheeks flushed at my advance, making me even question myself. "I-uh I like you..very much." She smiled, I'll take that as a a good sign. "May i take you out to dinner now?" Was I being too forward, was I being annoying? Well I had kissed her, that could not be more forward. "Of course, let's head out".

~~~~~
We walked up to a restaurant we both picked out and waited for a table to open up. Taking hers and my safety into consideration, I requested a booth in the back so we wouldn't be bothered. Some fans can be a little crazy! We got our booth and took a look at the offered dishes. I peeked over the menu and she looked at me, wide-eyed again. "What?" she laughed. "Nothing" I smiled and looked down again. A few moments later I looked up and she was still looking at me. "What?" I questioned. "Nothing" she laughed and looked back to her menu. She was captivating, really. Sometimes I just find myself staring at her, not even realizing I'm dozing of-
"What would you like for dinner?" the waiter asked.
I ordered, then she did. She talked to the waiter and she ordered something. Maybe an extra water or something. "What did you order?" I asked. "You'll see", she smiled again.
The waiter came with our meals and brought Alyssa's other order for us. They were these cute little smiley face fries. She giggled as she picked one up and smiled with it. I had to admit, it was the cutest thing ever. I took one and did the same. We sat there for a few minutes just playing with our food and we even received some weird looks from other customers...not like we cared. When we were finished I paid, and we walked out.
"That was great, Liam, thank you again for all this." "It's nothing," I responded, "I really enjoy spending time with you". She blushed and looked off into the dark of the night sky. I gently reached for her hand and and she accepted, gladly. She moved my arm so it was around her, hugging her as we walked on. It was really serene and beautiful, almost like a scene in a movie. She was warm. Not like an uncomfortable one, like a warm that is like home. When it makes you feel like nothing can hurt you, nothing could come between you..She was so special in a way that I couldn't quite form words to explain. Something about her was just warm and inviting and I wouldn't let that get away.
~~~~~ a few days later

I made plans to meet up with Alyssa again. I called her two days after the night we went out for dinner because I didn't want to seem creepy, she's probably still alarmed at my advance back at my place. I picked her up and we walked on into the city before stopping at a coffee place. We walked into the shop, I ordered Alyssa her salted caramel hot chocolate, and she gave me a surprised look. "How'd you know what I ordered..?" "I remember from our first da-the first time we hung out." Good save. "So, you thought it was a date?" She laughed, obviously at the red growing deeper in my cheeks. "Well no I mean, I just-" She broke out laughing, a bit nervous it seemed. I pretended I didn't say anything and picked up our drinks from the counter. I paid, and we walked out, her still giggling a bit.

That's when it happened. A mob of girls crowded us, screaming. Most were screaming for me, and a handful of girls were screaming at Alyssa, the majority being obscenities. Alyssa took every thing they said to heart, I could tell by her facial expressions. I said a quick hello and attempted to make our way out of the crowd. As the excitement died down, Alyssa's expressions became harder, colder. She clenched her coffee cup to her mouth, her grip not ever planning to let go. I realized quickly we weren't holding hands anymore and that she was storming ahead as I was trailing behind. I ran back up to her and told her to not take a thing they said seriously, and that they just said most things to get a reaction out of you. She didn't believe a word of it and tears began to well in her brown eyes. "They called me names and picked out about every single flaw I have, and even a few I haven't even realized until now I jus-" "Alyssa, you really don't have any flaws," I looked her up and down and then looked in her eyes again, "they're wrong, and they don't see the obvious beauty of you." "But they're all so much prettier than me and you could have any of them. Did you not see them screaming your name and running after you?" "Yes, and they could want me all they want. Scream all they want. But they're not you." She looked a bit better, reassured. She smiled, "I guess we are really that intrusive." I smiled, the way she was so understanding and calm was really nice. I knew something stood out about her in the crowd. She wasn't just another girl, she was different.
