PART ONE: COLLIDE
where am I? it looks like I'm walking somewhere or something. someone is walking next to me, but he's blurry. and our hands, they're gripping onto each other, our fingers weaved between each other, their hand is warm and soft, but large, the next thing I know; how do I explain it, what just happened? it's almost like it's...
"No!" I call out, where did that come from? why did I say that? It's blurry, but when I look down I see that our hands have been detached, I can barely see them as they fade away. I'm standing here, unable to move, there's been not one sound since their voice faced.
I hear a thud, it's not loud enough to be a gunshot, I look around a bit, I eventually look down.
oh.
I only fell. thank god, I thought someone got hurt. I pick myself up, finally being able to move again. I let my hands hang down before finally looking up again. It's still foggy, there's nothing in sight. I hear footsteps frantically running towards me, it felt as though the world slowed, my breathing, my movements, but mostly when they reached out to me. I was moving as fast as I possibly could, but I wasn't fast enough to reach them.
they just barely came back into my field of already blurry vision, first their fingers, then their whole hand. I reached for them, my arm moving slow. our hands grazed each other before...

I feel a sudden flow of cold air, I gasp and my eyes open.
"mom! it's so cold! you know you could just wake me up normally like a normal human!" I hopped out of bed and grabbed my nearest sweatshirt.
"it's not my fault you're lazy!" she winked and put my blanket back onto my bed.
"Why does it matter when I wake up anyways! its sun-" she cut me off.
"it's Monday, ya know your first day of school." she looked up at me like I was insane.
"It's what!" I dropped the book I had just picked up.
"you better hurry and get ready, or else hawks would've put in the effort to recommend you all for nothing." she smiled and walked out of my room.
I frantically got my uniform ready and jumped in the shower, honestly the fasted shower I think I've ever taken in my life. but once I step out of the shower I realize my legs aren't shaved.
"Mom!" I dramatically stretched her name out as I yelled for her.
"will you make me an electric razor? it's urgent!" I called out.
"yeah sure honey!" she knocked on the door about a minute later. here ya go! she smiled and handed me an electric razor.
her quirk allows her to make any item powered by electricity, I wish I would've gotten a quirk like that, but what matters is the fact that I got these hairy legs, and less than 30 minutes until school starts.
As I finish shaving my legs, my left eye vision blurs, and the next thing I know I'm on the floor. I can hear my mom running towards the bathroom, assuming she heard the thud. the door swings open and she falls to her knees and immediately puts her hand on my forehead.
"you don't have a fever, was it your left eye again?" she asked and lifted me so I was sitting up,
"yeah it was my left eye," I say and put my hand over it and immediately break down in tears,
"Hey, hey, it's alright." she grabbed the back of my head and pulled me in underneath her neck.
I sat there crying into my hand, she lifted my head up and forced me to look into her eyes.
