Ost: Owl City - Deer In The Headlights

B R O D Y

The sound of my phone's alarm woke me up, I should've never set it on full volume.. It hurts the hell out of my ears. I look at my phone, it's 8.45. Yesterday was hectic, i feel like my bones are about to break into pieces.

But I don't plan to miss my first day of uni, so I get up from my bed, messing with my curls and heading to the kitchen. I grab my cereal box from the counter and milk from the refrigerator, taking a bowl and spoon. I go to my living room and turn on the TV, laying my legs on the table.

Why do TV shows these days are so pointless? Like this dumbass one is showing celebs life 24/7.. man give them some damn spaces. I change the channel, not planning to watch this show anymore, looking for cartoon.

As I keep on searching, my phone's ringing from my room. I put my dirty dishes on the table, walking down to my room to grab my phone.

I look at the screen and see a familiar name.

"Man you awake?" he asks. "Yes I am, why?" I say, walking back to the living room and turn off the TV.

"Do you have classes today? Can you give me a ride? My car's running out of gas"

"Yeah sure, I'll pick you around nine thirty" I say, ending our conversation.

Chico's condo is only three blocks away from me, so I don't mind at all. I'll go through the same direction anyway.

I grab my dirty dishes and wash them. Not because I'm hygiene, I just don't want to wash dishes after a long day.

I look at the clock, it's now 9.15. I decide to take a shower so later I won't be rushing to my campus.

I rummage through my closet, choosing my outfit and wear them. Then I grab my car keys on the cabinet, my backpack which was hanging behind my bedroom door, and my wallet on the night stand.

I walk out of my bedroom, picking my phone on the table, checking everthing's fine, putting on my white converse and then ready to go.

After I lock my condo door, I walk to the elevator while texting Chico, telling him I'm on my way.

My condo is at the 8th floor so it takes some minutes to the parking lot. I walk to my car, get into it and heading outside the building.

The streets already filled with cars but there isn't any traffic. I stop at the red light, and checking my phone. Chico replied to my text earlier saying he's gonna wait outside his building.

About 10 minutes I arrive at Chico's condo, finding himself sitting on a bench, wearing a black leather jacket. I stop my car right in front of him, pressing the lock button. He walks to my car and buckles his seatbelt.

"Aye man" he says, brofisting me.

"Hey, what happens to your car?"

"Didn't I tell you before? It's running out of gas." he sighs.

"Haha sorry mate"

I've been friends with Chico since highschool, we both were in the football team. He knows a lot about me and vice versa.

After 30 minutes later we finally arrive at the campus area. I drive to the parking lot, parking my white Audi beside a black Subaru. Both me and Chico hop off my car and walk to the building.

Chico tells me last night his parent went to their friends' house and says that their children are also going to SU. His parent said that their friends' children are both gorgeous, well I hope it's true. Sorry not sorry but I haven't see any of these SU chicks that qualified my standards.
