BTS had already disbanded, but as this happened, many unfortunate things happened. This left the maknae alone, the promise of them being together til they're 50 didn't seem to last.
Jungkook then woke up. He looked around and saw that he was in his room. "Wait... was it all a dream?" Jungkook mumbled. He then rushed out of his room and saw Mingyu, sitting and drinking coffee. "M-Mingyu... t-they're still alive, right? Was it all a dream? They didnt die right?" Jungkook desperately said, hoping they were alive. Mingyu gave him a saddened look.
"J-Jungkook...they're gone...you have to move on" Mingyu said as he wrapped his arms around Jungkook. "No...No...NO NO NO NO" Jungkook repeated as he gripped his hair and sobbed so loud it, broke Mingyu's heart to see him in such a state. "I miss them, Mingyu...I want them back" Jungkook said as his voice cracked.
Mingyu couldn't do anything but hug him and whisper sweet notings to him. Jungkook calmed down after, but he looked so depressed that it worried Mingyu. "I'm...I'm gonna go sleep... I need space right now..." Jungkook said. "I understand, goodnight, love" Mingyu said as he gave Jungkook a kiss on the forehead.
"I love you most"Jungkook said with a strained smile. Jungkook walked back to his room and closed the door.

"Without my hyungs, I'm nothing..." Jungkook whispered. He then went in his bathroom and grabbed his sleeping pills. "It's now time for me to sleep forever" Jungkook muttered. He then downed all the pills and soon darkness welcomed him in a sweet embrace.
Mingyu was worried for Jungkook, since his mental state is bad but he also wants to respect Jungkook's wishes. Mingyu sighed and decided to check up on him. He then opened the door and saw no signs of Jungkook. "Kookie? Oh... he must be in the bathroom" Mingyu said. "Hey, Kookie, wanna cuddle toda-" He cut himself off as he sees his boyfriend, on the floor, passed out. With a now empty bottle of sleeping pills on his hands. He checked for a pulse and found none. Mingyu couldn't help but sob.
"K-Kookie, this is a joke, right? P-please, wake up..." Mingyu pleaded. "Y-you promised we'd grow old together...have kids and get married...why did you leave so soon?" Mingyu said as his voice cracked. He hugged Jungkook's cold and lifeless body, which were once warm and made him feel comfort.
"I shouldn't have left your side...I'm sorry..." Mingyu said as he hugged his now dead boyfriend tightly as he let his tears fall.
"I didn't expect you to leave so soon...Maybe in another life we'll have a happy ending..."
