a question lingered in the 6 other boys heads...

who was next?

-
(time skip)

it was 8 am. jeongins alarm echoed throughout the dorm room a bit too loud for his liking. once he shut of the ringing device he turned over to his boyfriend, kissing him awake.

hyunjin had already graduated the year prior but stayed with jeongin in the dorm.. reason being they were too scared to be alone...or even apart for that matter.

not much happened over the three years. it was just attempting to recover and now treat their diagnosed ptsd. other than that it was simply school work. and sex i guess.

hyunjin woke up kissing back, smiling against the boys lips. "good morning sweetheart, you ready for today?"

"i don't think i'll ever be more ready" he laughed softly "after today we finally get to live at home, no school, no dorm, no other people. just us. we'll feel safe and won't have to worry about any of the dumbass problems we collected in college" jeongin eyes were glistening at the thought. oh how he couldn't wait.

"right, well... you need to get ready, don't wanna be late to graduation!"

-

hyunjin sat at the edge of the crowd watching jeongin finally collect those pointless papers that determine if you can get a stupid job or not.

it was finally hitting him that today is the first day of the rest of their lives. it all goes on from here. they would officially move into their home permanently, settle down, and eventually...maybe have a family. hyunjin almost started tearing up as jeongin took his seat once more to finish the ceremony. this was really happening.

after the ceremony was complete they went back to the dorm to pack up the remainder of their belongings. which wasn't much, the kept majority of their things at home in busan where they'd visit on weekends.

once everything was packed away in their car, they hopped in the front seats, turned on some music and set off on their way home.

-

they had arrived after 5 long hours. hyunjin looked to the passenger seat to see jeongin was dead asleep. hyunjin decided he'd just let his baby rest while he did the unpacking.

he made his way towards the trunk, opening it as quiet as physically possible. he then 1 by 1 carried the boxes that contained their things, brought them inside and set them in their room.

once that was done he went back out to the car to wake up his sleeping boyfriend. he slid one arm under the boys legs and the other arm wrapped around his back. bridal carrying him into the house.

jeongins eyes fluttered open to see the view of hyunjins beautifully structured face. he snuggled close into his neck, absolutely loving how well his boyfriend takes care of him. as he was planting soft kisses as a thank you, hyunjin looked down to see the boy awake.

"you're quite the sleepy head when it comes to car rides"  they'd finally made it to their room, the older laid jeongin on their bed and stood near the edge looking down at him. "so beautiful" he murmured.

"come"jeongin said opening his arms to get hyunjin to cuddle. the older gave in and laid down wrapping the younger up in his arms.

-

the two had fallen asleep after cuddling for quite some time. once woken up, it was nearly 11pm. "innie, you just want to unpack tomorrow?"

"mhm, i'm too comfy to get up now." he said snuggling closer, taking in hyunjins scent. he could never get old of his scent. it was simple perfect to him. "jinnie?"

"yes, baby?"

"what's next? what happened when we get jobs and we will have to be separated?" jeongins voice was coated with an underlying worry.

"i don't know... we've never really spent more that a few hours at a time apart, have we?" hyunjin was trying to be comforting but in all reality he was just as worried.

was it even possible for them to be apart? most likely not. they use eachother as support, and without that support their not sure how to face other people. ever since..

"i wish we could just be normal jinnie" jeongins voiced cracked a bit.

"me too, me too baby. we'll get closer one day. we just got to work on it for now."

"marry me." the younger blurted out.

"what?"

jeongin didn't know what had came over him but he felt this was right. all he wanted in life was to be settled down with the only person he love and trusted 100% he remembers the first time he talked about their future together. it was right after they'd had sex for the first time. when the were being help captive...'Then, we can finally live the rest of our lives together, just the two of us. Happily. Without haewoo.' he could never forget that, although that sentence was a stretch with the word "happily" i mean of course they were happy, but there isn't a day that goes by where something doesn't remind them of what they went through. but overall they made eachother they happiest they could be. he wanted to hold those words close to his heart and take them to the grave. all he wanted was to spend the rest of their lives together.

"i know you probably wanted to do this part, and i know i don't have a ring or anything but, hyunjin i want to marry you. i want to spend the rest of our lives happily and forget about haewoo. so please... hwang hyunjin, will you marry me?" he was tearing up for some reason. maybe afraid it was too much, or maybe the older was upset he didn't get to propose.

"i want nothing more that to marry you. so yes, i will marry you. i will make sure we're happy, and i promise you i'll never let you be alone." he took the bad of his thumb and wiped away the tears off his boyfriends face and forment a teary-face smile "so here's to the rest of our lives and a start to forgetting the past. i love you, yang jeongin." their lips connected in the most affectionate way, full of love, trust, and care. almost similar to the first one the shared.

it's crazy how deep hatred can make you fall in love.

the end.

i'm so sorry for cutting the book short. if i'm going to be honest i dragged it out longer than i intended to. it originally was supposed to end when they were finally set free from haewoo. but it got into #1 so i kept updating to keep it there. yeah this was a very sloppily made book but i'm so grateful for each and every one of you who read this.

anyways i hope you enjoyed this story, it was a fun one to write but now i'll focus on my other book "a little crazy" and my upcoming book "the boy in my basement"
